Clicking on other than window border doesn't bring it to the front

I'm wondering if I'm having trouble with x2go or with X11 or my kinesthetic memory, but for the last few days, my reflexes to bring a terminal window to the front by clicking on other than its border is being defied. I have to click on the border to get it to come to the front. Disconnecting and reconnecting (even with login) does not reset this condition.

mounting local folders not working

Hi! I am using the X2Go-Client with mounted home directories. Now the mount does not work from both clients (mac and ubuntu 20.10). While the connection is being established, there is no error message. What I have checked so far: remote user on server is in group „fuse“ on mac: enabled remote login for all users Any idea on how to fix this issue? Thanks! Bernhard

Hello dear all, i have install an x2go server with xfce. our home directory are on an nfs server with no root access. X2GO server side Disable suspend mode

Hello Dear x2go users list members, I have a question on a x2go server, how it's possible to disable session suspending, All my users clic on the cross at the top right to quit the session and suddenly it leaves you hanging. I would like to turn off suspend mode. Thanks in advance.

X2Go server on BSD

Hi, I am wondering if there are pointers on th way to port X2Go server to BSD Unix. From what I have been pocking around, it is highly dependant on Linux, using tools that are not really standard like ss instead of netstat for example. Poking in the scripts, I have not been able to go very far, so I am wondering if it is worth speding some more time or if it is a lost cause. So far, I have been using a Windows machine as a desktop, with the X terminal X-Win 32. UIt allows me a simple access to my various servers at the click of a button. Since I have changed for an Ubuntu desktop, accessomg the servers is way less simple and less integrated (because Gnome or any window manager that I have tried is grabbing so many key combination that I want to use for something else). But X-Win32 still works in wine and I can port all my Windows environment with little to no change. But I wanted to try a different X solution maybe, hence exploring X2Go. TIA, Olivier --

A couple of simple questions

Recently I installed x2goserver on an Ubuntu Mate 20.04 machine and x2goclient on my CentOS 7 workstation. I configured the session with "[X] Try auto login (via SSH Agend ot default SSH key)" as I have an SSH key installed on the remote machine. It connects fine over my LAN and I find the CPU utilization on the remote machine much lower than with x11vnc which I had been using. Her are my client related questions... 1) What is the CORRECT way to disconnect from the remote machine and leave the remote session (and the programs on it) running? The goal being to be able to check back later on the status of the work which the remote machine is performing. 2) How does one connect to more than one remote machine? I have only been able to do this by loading an additional x2goclient for the next remote machine. This seems to waste a lot of real estate. Remote VM, accessed via X2GO, receiving input signals over and over again. How to fix this?

Hello, When I type 'c', for example, 'ccccccc' comes out. So this is annoying. Should I decrease or increase some settings, on the VM or X2GO? "Hardware" related question running x2go in LXC container

Hello! I am new to x2go and I try to use x2go server hosted inside a LXC container, which is currently a privileged container. My use is from windows (x2go client). The host and the container are running debian 10. This is basically running. I would be happy to get help with this questions: - how to find, which video driver is in use and what options do I have to NOT access the hosts video and using framebuffer or something like this? - is there something like a virtual sound card? Even the host does not have one and redirecting sound from browser would no really require one, but I do net get sound (I see a pulseaudio running on the windows side)? - the clipboard stops often working and if one uses another session in a second x2go-client, only the last started one will work - is there a trick to restart it and to make it work for two ore more x2go sessions?
