Main window flash at startup with --hide

When I use the --hide option at the command line, I still see a brief flash of the main window. Is it possible to hide this completely? If not through a command line or registry option, then can the code be modified to prevent this? Thanks, Travis Levin Cell: 469-408-0625

Hello, I have been very impressed with the capabilities of the x2go platform. I would like to optimize the time it takes to startup a session (currently about 18 seconds). Are there settings I should look at to ensure I am getting the minimum startup time? Thanks, Travis Levin

Black Screen

Hello, I successfully installed X2GO and wanted to use it with a mounted /home on CIFS / AD server. The security part (krb, SSSD) is working well, but after the authentication, I have 2 secondes the X2GO windows and the session close itself. If I unmount the /home from the CIFS server, the session is working properly. That setup is working with FastX, but I prefer using X2GO (better perfs and customizations). Have x2go use Windows 10 default ssh-agent

Hi, Windows 10 comes with an "OpenSSH Authentication Agent" that manages SSH keys. Once added, the SSH keys are kept in the Windows 10 Credential Storage and encrypted/decrypted with the user login. Documentation here: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-server/administration/openssh/open… I was able to use this for ssh in WSL using this github repo: https://github.com/bahamas10/windows-bash-ssh-agent Is it possible to have the Windows x2go client talk to the Windows 10 ssh-agent? I was able to do it using Pageant, but that is less convenient/integrated IMO. Ubuntu Directions to fix qt.qpa.xcb: X server does not support XInput 2?

Looking up qt.qpa.xcb: X server does not support XInput 2 I discovered https://community.rstudio.com/t/x2go-and-rstudio/29704/5 which linked to https://wiki.x2go.org/doku.php/wiki:development:glx-xlib-workaround but following the directions for Ubuntu, I get: E: You must put some 'source' URIs in your sources.list Moreover, the directions are for Ubuntu 14 and we're on 20, so I'm not even sure the directions are up to date if, indeed, the problem with x2go still exists after all this time.

Disconnect Acts Like CTRL-s Press

If I lose my internet connection, it seems to, in effect, press CTRL-s on the remote terminal window. This is most frustrating as I will frequently leave a process running over night only to discover in the morning that it has paused execution. Is there anyway to prevent this from happening?

Reconnection results in Major opcode of failed request: 88 (X_FreeColors)

After connection is restored, a program that had, during the outage, plotted a graph, fails to show the graph on the x2go client with this message: X Error of failed request: BadAccess (attempt to access private resource denied) Major opcode of failed request: 88 (X_FreeColors) However, rerunning the program in the same terminal window succeeds.

Session immediately terminates after login

Hi, I'm not able to establish a graphical user session. All the time the session immediately terminates after login :-( In the LOG I can't get a hint, what's possible is going wrong. Kind regards! new x2go version fail to connect

Hi everyone, I just updated my X2Go windows client versione from 4.1.2.0 to 4.1.2.2, I saw a change in session preferences: under session type there was "connect to local desktop", now I see"X2Go/X11 Desktop Sharing". Unfortunately now I'm no longer able to connect to my remote systems. It seems like the software crashes and closes when I try to login. I think I downgrade again to 4.1.2.0. however: is it normal? Am I missing something? Thanks in advance. Best Regards. Gf
