x2gi broker, wsgi

Hi, I'm trying to set up an x2go broker using x2gobroker-wsgi, and it seems to be almost working - but fails at the last hurdle. I have a pool of x2go servers running (that work fine individually); and listed in a pool in x2gobroker-sessionprofiles.conf (They do require an ssh proxy, which I specified in the sessionprofiles) I have a central pgsql db successfully recording sessions for the x2go servers. On the broker server, from the command line: * using x2gobroker-testauth succeeds * the load balancer seems to be working fine * command line running x2gobroker --task listsessions shows the session configured in x2gobroker-sessionprofiles.conf I have the x2gobroker-wsgi set up as a virtualhost. With debugging turned on, and most authentication disabled (so I'm expecting to have to log in first to the broker multiple times), I can visit in a browser to https://broker.my.domain/plain/ (also to .../plain/inifile ) and it just says "Access granted". If I use x2goclient, I try x2goclient --broker-url=https://broker.my.domain/plain --debug In x2goclient I then get a login screen, followed by a pop-up error message: "Host requires authentication"; the debug messages say: Broker HTTP request failed with error: "Host requires authentication" The apache log file just shows successful connections. I was expecting to get a choice among the pool of servers... x2go by verified developers for macOS

Hi @all, I love to use x2go for remote connections from remote work to company-internal server machines. Since I am using a macOS machine to get my stuff done I am not able to use this anymore because company policies only allow Apple notarized applications to be installed on the machines. How to disable File Sharing functionality

Hi, I want to know how I can disable the file sharing functionality. I guess this has to be done on server side since the client is free to do whatever he wants with the x2go client. I'm dealing with a specific use case in which the client should not be able to share files (in/out the server) for security reasons therefore the only required functionality is the remote desktop and that's it. Note: I confirmed my mailing subscription, would be great if you can accept my question. Thank you.

Accepting RDP certs in Linux

Attempting to log into a remote Windows 10 machine using RDP in POP_OS x2go, and I am unable to accept the security certificate. Any ideas? I can log into the Win10 machine using RDP if I am using another Windows machine.

I've tried to debug this by running x2goclient.debug.exe --debug, but there's an issue here. When running the debug version, the "Use whole display" option is not available in the session settings tab: **Session Input/Output with x2goclient.debug.exe --debug** [ ] Fullscreen [ ] Custom Width (greyed out 3696) Height (greyed out 2160) [ ] Maximum available See the "Use whole display" option missing in front of the "Maximum available" radio box. It's almost as if the debug build included in this distribution is of an older x2goclient version (but it shows the correct version number in the About dialog). When starting "geeqie" (an image viewer) I get this in an x2go session on all 3 servers I run. Sticky (repeated) arrows using x

Hi, I have a sticky keys problem, when I connect from windows 10 pc to a linux server using x2Go version (4.1.2.0), connection type: XFCE. Then when I click shift + arrow right in order to mark a specific text and then release the keyboard the text is still being marked until the end of it. Also I cannot stop the operation, I need to restart the session. It happens using all editors, and using all arrows. Unfortunately, the latest version doesn't work, as it fails to connect to the server. Any suggestions? Thanks, Tamir

x2go session broker

Hi, I installed Session Broker , and connected with listed session profiles. I am using xfce Desktop Environment. But getting issues, whenever I access xfce desktop it opens a new Desktop, instead it should open existing Desktop. is it possible to use same Desktop Display that currently running ? copy/paste issues

I (still) have a strange problem with copy/paste on my setup. When x2go client is active, copy/paste stops working *locally *(nevermind if it works between local and remote). Client is using kde, server is mate. Any ideas? -- *Those who don't understand recursion are doomed to repeat it*
