Hi Uli, Thank you- concur about images- in the past, copy-paste of them only worked within a session, not across. My workaround was to paste-save to /tmp on the host and then open saved image from another session. But nearly all copy-paste for me is text / URLs. X2GO Crash When Resizing columns in Cliosoft Sos

I am using a program called Cliosoft SOS. It has a window that displays in columns like an Excel file. When I resize one of the columns then my X2GO session window crashes. The start window where I pick which session to start stays running. There is a horizontal scroll bar to move the columns sideways. When I drag that then the X2GO window crashes. I can resize the entire SOS window without any problems. I do not see this sort of behavior in LibreOffice Calc. I have attached the session log and the client debug console output showing a few of these crashes. My client is v. 4.1.2.2 on Windows 10. I am connecting to a CENTOS 7 system running X2GO 4.1.0.3-9 server which came from the Epel repo. Is there some way to fix this or is it a bug that I should report? Is there any additional information that I should gather? Anything I should ask the software developer?

Hi folks, Let me first say thank you to X2Go maintainers- I happened upon X2Go about 6 months ago when figuring out how to switch my workflow from Fedora VMs on MacOS to distinct desktop environments on Fedora. It is such a profoundly excellent tool. Thank you for your efforts. Now- to describe a problem that just cropped up, hoping someone can help me debug. I have been running Fedora 32 - XFCE on a Thinkpad, simultaneously running 7 distinct local X2Go sessions under 7 different host users. Each session's window resides within its own XFCE logical desktop, and I switch between them with the switch desktop hotkeys. X2Go sessions are configured to support bidirectional copy/paste, and generally it works seamlessly to copy text or images from apps in one session's window to another or to/from the host. Last night I upgraded to Fedora 33, with the requisite updates to X2Go. Now, copy/paste is reliably broken in one area: * from host into any session still is fine * from session into host still is fine * from a session into the same session still is fine * from one session into another session no longer works On failed pastes- where the copy was from one session and the paste is another session- when the paste recipient is a browser (Chromium, Firefox, whatever), sometimes the recipient browser tab temporarily locks up trying (and failing) to retrieve the paste material. All X2Go sessions are still configured for bi-directional copy-paste. session.log file fills disk

We are seeing this on multiple machines where the session.log file is massive. I've seen them as large as 82gb. When you attempt to open it it says it's a binary file Server is Centos 7 running x2go server 4.1.0.3-9 == This e-mail may contain SEAKR Engineering (SEAKR) Confidential and Proprietary Information. Shared folder fails silently on client side?

For some reason the automounted shared folder is no longer being shared. Moreover, manually mounting doesn't work either. Yet there are no error messages in the X2Go CLient status window (Session ID:... Server:... Username:... Display:... Creation time (is blank?) and Status running). I'm not exactly sure where to look on the Ubuntu server for diagnostics, but it seems the client side should not be so silent under both automount and manual mount.

Single Application session fails

I am running x2goclient on my laptop and the x2go server is on my dekstop, both systems are running xubuntu 20.10. Running an xfce session works perfectly but running a single application session doesn't. It appears to work until the application pops up momentarily and then disappears. The application *is* still running but is not displayed. pyhoca-cli seems very broken on xubuntu 20.10

Having fixed the missing python3-invoke module pyhoca-cli now crashes in all sorts of other ways on my xubuntu 20.10 system. These sessions run fine when called from x2goclient, I just want to script them in order to run a couple of things before the x2go session. x2go session crashes xfwm4

I've recently upgraded my system to xubuntu 20.10 and x2go sessions now crash the xfwm4 window manager. After restarting xfwm4 from a terminal window I see the following crash report when I run another x2go session:- xfwm4:15183): Gdk-ERROR **: 11:27:33.867: The program 'xfwm4' received an X Window System error. This probably reflects a bug in the program. The error was 'XSyncBadAlarm'. (Details: serial 213260 error_code 135 request_code 134 (SYNC) minor_code 11) (Note to programmers: normally, X errors are reported asynchronously; that is, you will receive the error a while after causing it. To debug your program, run it with the GDK_SYNCHRONIZE environment variable to change this behavior. You can then get a meaningful backtrace from your debugger if you break on the gdk_x_error() function.) Trace/breakpoint trap (core dumped) Is this a bug in xfwm4 or in x2go? -- Chris Green

Missing dependency for pyhoca-cli
