Cannot successfully use the x2go client on windows 8.1

I have installed the x2go server under the ubuntu 14.04 on a remote computer. When I use the x2go client under either windows 7 or ubuntu 14.04 on another computer and then connect to the server, the client works fine. However, some problems occurred when I run the client under windows 8.1. Actually I can connect successfully, but the remote desktop is black and I cannot right-click on desktop. When I open the file system or the file manager, it could be very slow (it may take 35~30 seconds to open the file folder). I have searched on google but found no answer. Is there any configuration for fixing this? Any ideas?

Pulseaudio doesn't start on Win7

Hi Michael, With regard to Ralf's workaround to PulseAudio's failure to start when there is no audio recording device enabled http://lists.x2go.org/pipermail/x2go-user/2014-December/002689.html I'd like to share my findings. First of all, the problem seems to be more widespread than anticipated. In fact, it affects all modern motherboards with onboard sound (be it from Realtek or Intel) that support jack detection and distinguish whether or not an actual device is plugged in. Secondly, being such a problem as described above, one can easily overcome it in two ways: a. plug a mic in the microphone jack or b. enable a dummy audio recording device as Philip did http://lists.x2go.org/pipermail/x2go-user/2013-August/001570.html > OK. pyhoca-gui unable to establish connection

Hello all, As the subject says I'm unable to connect with pyhoca-gui anymore. This started on 12/04 after an update on Debian wheezy, both client and server side. I am still able to connect with X2go client. Far from a noob, yet I've just about exceeded my debugging abilities on this. Pyhoca-[gui|cli] is also unable to connect with an up to date Jessie machine either, same results, log messages, etc. Ssh authentication has be stripped to just using a password, no keys. Seemingly either gui or cli will just wait forever. I've not timed it, but let it go around 20min this afternoon and the dialog box was still there. Either KDE will terminate the dead processes after prompting or I do in manually in a shell. I can provide any more information if needed. Hi! Client side printing does not work on my x2goserver. When looking at the file /etc/cups/cups-x2go.conf I am wondering whether I need the ssh keys only if the cupsserver resides on a different server as the x2go server?

Hello, I can't print in a xfce session from my windows client. Session is through VPN to a Debian machine. In a xfce session, when I ask to print something, nothing happens in windows client. Fullscreen issues from laptop

Hi everybody I'm experiencing some problems when connecting from a x2go client running on a laptop with Ubuntu 14.04. I've seen similar issues in other threads, but I've not found any complete solution. I can connect to x2go server in fullscreen mode without problems. I can switch to client laptop desktop if I click on the right upper corner of the screen. But many times (not allways) I cannot come back to x2go client. I can see the task running in Unity launcher, but I cannot switch to it, even if I press CTRL-Tab. I've found a partial solution: CTRL+ALT+F changes to widowed mode, so whenever I want to go back to x2go client I can click on the task in the launcher and press CTR+ALT+F again to be in fullscreen mode. But, something strange occurs with my laptop desktop, that is, when I press ALT+TAB I can't see the tasks lists. I hope I've been clear enough. I use my Mac at home to connect to my linux box at work using xfce. I use emacs and Eclipse with emacs key mappings and using CTRL+S comes up quite often. Is CTRL+S a key combo that x2go uses or filters out?

x2goserver Active Directory User Login Issue

Hello, I am currently running x2goserver on a RHEL 6.6 x64 instance. I am able to login with a local user fine, but receive an "access denied" message when I try to use an Active Directory authenticated user. I confirmed on the RHEL host that I can SSH in with the AD creds for the user, I can also login with a local user using x2goclient without issue. I have tried the x2goclient on OS X 10.9.5, Windows Server 2012 x64, Windows 7 x64, and even tried from the RHEL 6.6 x64 server instance with no luck. I have x2goserver set to loglevel=debug. There are no logs populated that I can see in the user's homedir for the session. If someone can point me in the right direction perhaps regarding this issue it would be greatly appreciated, from googling and checking the archives it looks like this has been done successfully, but I am at a loss here. Any and all help is appreciated.
