I boot up and the desktop for that account simply appears. And brings up the control display panel with it. The sub pilot doesn't want to mess around with logging in, etc. Given that - is there a particular order to which I should fire up the X2Go client vs. booting up the linux server? AND - if I also have a monitor (& keyboard & mouse) on the linux server - - what happens? (Thinking about, say, Windows Remote Desktop - I think I recall the console display just going away when a remote user brought it up - but I can't remember). OK; any suggestions helpful. Hi, I heard that this bug should be fixed, but I still have it: When resuming a session on a Linux machine that was created on Windows. X2go server version: 4.0.1.18-0x2go1+git20141006.949+wheezy.main.1 X2go windows client version: 4.0.3.1-20141214 <http://code.x2go.org/releases/binary-win32/x2goclient/releases/4.0.3.1-2014…> X2go Linux client version: V. 4.0.3.1 Is there an error log that could give some information what is going wrong here? Segfault of QDialog in a PyQt application

Package: x2go Version: 4.0.3.0 Qt 4.8.6 When we run our PyQt application on our Debian Wheezy computer with an ssh -X connection it work fine But when we use X2Go to access the computer and we run our application we've got a segmentation fault at the first QDialog opening. (when we run QDialog.exec_). We recently update the X2Go version and before that update it was working fine. We found at least one post that describe the same problem in January 2014 on your bug report site : X2Go Bug report logs - #410 Segfault of _X11TransWritev in libNX_X11.so.6 with libQtGui Like suggested in this report if we run a simple application to test an opening of a dialog box it work fine with X2Go >From your experience of this bugs is there any way to solve this problem ? Desktop sharing like "screen -x" with X2GO?

Hello, I tried asking this question on IRC but I must have chosen a time when everyone was busy or away. I'm not subscribed to the list so I appreciate a CC to my address for replies. Is it possible with X2GO to connect to the same session from two different machines at the same time? Like you would do using "screen -x" for a terminal. - The two machines log in via SSH to the X2GO server using the same user - If a session is started from the first machine, it seems to me (hopefully I'm wrong!) that from the second machine I can only suspend that session (kicking out the first machine) and then resume it. I would like both machines to be connected at the same time This is actually for two different users collaborating on the same screen, but they access the same user on the server so I don't think it matters; in any case I don't want user B to disconnect user A when they connect, and they need to be on the same session because they are working together on the same application. Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks in advance.

x2go login error

My x2go server is my desktop at work and there is a .bashrc that launches keychain and loads my ~/.ssh/id_dsa into the session environment. the terminal gets the following output before the prompt: * keychain 2.7.1 ~ http://www.funtoo.org * Found existing ssh-agent: 1829 * Known ssh key: /home/rhall/.ssh/id_dsa Then you get a bash prompt. This output becomes the text of the error message when I try to connect to this same box via x2go-client. The relevant lines in .bashrc are: /usr/bin/keychain ~/.ssh/id_dsa source ~/.keychain/rhall-sh

Stuck in Fullscreen

Hi, I use X2go from a Windows 7 machine and have noticed that now one session with one user always goes into full screen mode, although I don't want this. Is there a way to set this anywhere in the client config? CTRL ALT F does not work and has no discernable function in this session. Thanks, Markus

x2gomountdirs only after 2 minutes

Hi all, On some computers I login with a user and in the syslog I get: Jan 15 16:06:57 lin-cad-dev-ubuntu /usr/bin/x2gomountdirs[11380]: WARNING: mounting of /cygdrive/C/Users/xxxx/X2GO~1/S-1A99~1/spool failed As a result, not only is the session slower with logging in but also the logout can take 20-30 seconds. In the file: /tmp/.x2go-xxxx/C-xxxx-51-1421334287_stDMATE_dp32/sshfs-mounts.log (END) I see: read: Connection reset by peer At first I was thinking the mount is not working but it does mount, after 2 minutes: Jan 15 16:14:25 lin-cad-dev-ubuntu /usr/bin/x2gomountdirs[14553]: WARNING: mounting of /cygdrive/C/Users/Geert/X2GO~1/S-102D~1/spool failed Logging in on a different computer with the same user = no problem. Hi all, at German schools there is a great debate that high school / grammar school students don't write their own essays but repetitively copy from Wikipedia... Some schools block Wikipedia out of that reason. Before some pure student copies this [1] article, can any of the native English speakers having experience with X2Go, please get things right at en.Wikipedia? Main flaws... o X2Go is _NOT_AT_ALL_ an implementation of the NX remote desktop protocol, it is a protocol of its own!!! It uses the NX-X11 Xserver, that's all. o X2Go can be used to access desktops on a PC, BUT ITS MAIN USE CASE is providing standalone remote sessions (with no physical desktop attached) o X2Go has not been adopted by Fedora, it has been packaged for Fedora... Mike (who hopes there is a wholehearted person out there that knows how to and wants to play with Wikipedia...) x2go client side printing

Hallo Guys! I would like to ask if anyone managed to get client-side printing work on an ubuntu 14.04 powered x2go server. On my installation everything seems fine. In the syslog i can only find one error message, that x2go print could not process the print file.
