Mounting problem WARNING: mounting of /home/***********/spool failed

I have a problem in sharing a client directory to the server instance, mounting fails both on server and client I use deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/x2go/ppa/ubuntu oneiric main openssh 1:5.8p1-7ubuntu1 (Dis)Connection to the server is going fine (not always) but when I share a local directory the remote desktop is working but the mount always fails mentioned in the syslog. x2go Mac Client: cannot connect to multiple servers at the same time

Hi, with the standard Mac OSX client, I find that it does not allow opening more than one connection (to multiple servers) at the same time. Failure - Server Key

Just reinstalled Debian on the backup server, but now can't get into it with x2go. Gives a popup that says, "The host key for this server was not found but an othertype of key exists.An attacker might change the default server key toconfuse your client into thinking the key does not exist." Doing a search, no one seems to have had this problem before. Any ideas?

Forward USB using USB IP

Hi x2go folks, this topic already last year: http://lists.berlios.de/pipermail/x2go-dev/2010-September/001087.html Recent linux kernel provide support for USB forwarding over IP (kernel config: CONFIG_USB_IP_COMMON/CONFIG_USB_IP_HOST). Has anyone tried to make use of this feature in conjunction with x2go? Of course xygo *does* provide support for usb mass storage and printers. But usbip appears to be a low level devices driver that should support almost any device types. Integration with x2go should not be too hard as x2go already supports secure portforward/tunneling which is required by usbib (in untrusted environments). x2go, pam_mount cifs and multiple mounting

Hi every one, I am trying to setup pam_mount+cifs for a x2go server. I want to remove an aging nfs based homedir setup. The mounting works ok and I get my x2go session with my homedir file. However, due to the way x2go deals with logon process, it seems that the pam scripts are called five times, and so I get the home dir mounted five times ! The homedirs are stored on a samba/openldap PDC servers. I wanted to know if anyone of you had some trick to avoid the redondant mounting. Hello, I saw a post about some modifications that were made to the pyhoca-gui client that would allow x2go to run on OS X Lion. Could someone provide more info on how to download this so I can test it a bit? Thanks, Neil

New X2go releases (as of 2011-10-12)

Hi all, two weeks ago the X2go project developers team has agreed on releasing X2go source projects in shorter release intervals than before. The goal of this is to make new code and X2go features available to the community sooner rather then later and to provide more clarity on what is considered stable and up-to-date and what not. The plan is to release code that - we consider as stable - has been tested by more than one person and - has not been changed in X2go Git for more than 14 days the upcoming Wednesday. As this is the first release shot we will take (after a long time with only irregurlar releases), the changelogs of the individual projects are quite long. Feel free to study these changelog (at the end of this mail) or not.
