lightdm-remote-session-x2go

Mike I installed this before looking on the wiki for any documentation but when I looked I didn't find any. lightdm-remote-session-x2go appears to have installed ok but now the question is how to use it? Is there any configuration required after installation? opensuse 12.1 and firefox hangs

Hello, here are package versions on my opensuse 12.1 host. x2goserver 4.0.0.1-4.1 nxlibs and agent 3.0.5.20-3.2 First time I click on firefox menu It get hanged for 1 minute or so. Then it works normally but sometimes hang again. As I like light environements, I use LXDE as desktop I noticed this problem only with Firefox but it may be other libs issue. Any clue for this ? bug 106 - SSH Host Key Validation fails when ECDSA is already known

How do I remove the host key? This bug is quite annoying. Especially because it's easy to trigger and the prompt dialog doesn't explaint how to remove the existing key. http://bugs.x2go.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=106 I already tried 'ssh-keygen -R [host]' with no effect. and according to the bug report this is not how it's done anymore... Runlevel 5 needed?

Hello everybody, in the installation instructions there is a remark that the server has to be run runlevel 5 to allow the X2Go server to accept connections. Why is it like this? Is the local XServer needed for operation? Is there an easy way to overcome this? Background of my question: I'm interested in using X2go in our system, but we had to switch to runlevel 3. Actually we use mainly VNC sessions for remote operation and these tended to hang up with a "local" XServer running on the server. Thank you very much. Best regards, Markus

issue: GTX don't work with V.4.0.0.1

Hello, I'm using Ubuntu 12.04 and a GTX 680 (Driverversion: 304.48) The old x2go (3.) worked with different 304.xx versions. Anyone installed/used the new x2goplugin on Windows yet?

I was able to get the new x2goplugin working on linux with multiple different web browsers but the last I checked the x2go wiki was looking was still looking for input on how to install the x2goplugin on both Windows and Mac. Has anyone done this successfully yet? If so could they post how they set things up? thanks Brian

Debugging tips?

I'm just starting to use x2go, and it has mostly worked great. But, I have run into problems where I connect to my server, get authenticated, but never get my application displayed. I can see the x2goagent process running on the server, but the app never displays. Creating a new user account and logging in with that has usually succeeded as a workaround. But, obviously that's not a solution. I'm sure there is a simple fix for this, like cleaning up some lost session data. But, my attempts thus far have failed. Are there any session debugging tips available? Or, pointers for where to look or how to enable more debugging output?

Custom login script user/pass variables and pyhoca-cli

Hello I have two versions of a script that log a thin client into an x2go server using a YAD graphical prompt which passes variables to pyhoca-cli.
