No I must say, it's unstable under linux too, not only win7. My server side is with automatic updates switched on and I see multiple times in week a notifications about that. Sometimes it will suggest me to reboot my computer to update but I will not do it before weekend - somewhere in the saturday evening but not at every week. My linux client side is with automatic updates turned off and I will update it manually at friday afternoon (if I remember to do it and if I have a time to do it) before turning off for the weekend. So it is very hard to tell which updates and at which side was a cause of the problems. Windows client is updated very rarely. But somewhere at last two weeks I started to see problems connecting to suspended x2go sessions. After then I updated also windows client but no better stability. If I connect from linux client it will disconnect me after I try to connect to my suspended session (for a moment I can see my desktop and sometimes I can click something and run a command or two). Every time I see my suspended session (with ID number) so I will assume my login was correct. After few retries (number of times differ from day to day) I will get a connection and it is stable until evening then I disconnect it before going home. At home I will connect from windows client and also there is login correct because I see my suspended session with ID number (sometimes it is not 50 but over that but this is a same until I must make a new session). If I try to resume this session I will sometimes see my desktop for a few seconds (and sometimes I can click and run a command or two) but it will disconnect me again saying something about my incorrect credentials. After few retries I will get my session and this is stable until i disconnect it later. PyHoca-GUI is more stable and with this I can reconnect better. I have'nt used windows x2go-client for a last week or two anymore. But there are also cases there after a few unsuccessfull reconnections PyHoca-GUI will not show my suspended session anymore and I must start a new one. And there is a new session at the server - the old one is gone with all related programs closed.

multiple xorg.conf's in x2go TCE

We use the 'hostname' to distinguish the xorg.conf's for different thin clients. The attached init-script 'x2gohostname' replaces the default 'hostname' with the ethernet address of the network device eth0. Colons are replaced by dashes. Xorg will search the xorg.conf.<hostname> file in the directory /usr/etc/X11/, which correspond to /opt/x2gothinclient/chroot/usr/etc/X11/ in the PXE-boot environment. The init-script goes to /opt/x2gothinclient/chroot/etc/init.d/. Enter the chroot-environment executing 'x2gothinclient_shell'. 'update-rc.d x2gohostname defaults' will generate the symlinks for the different run-levels. git from NX-Library and compile e install x2go from de source

HI all, I following this guide to compile and install x2go server in a mandriva 2010.0 version http://wiki.x2go.org/doku.php/wiki:development:build-howto-linux:x2goserver but when i try to git clone the nx library ( http://wiki.x2go.org/doku.php/wiki:development:build-howto-linux:nx-libs) i have this error: fatal: destination path 'nxcomp' already exists and is not an empty directory. is the same problem for xccommpext and nxcompshad so i do a search in the web-git and found the nxlibrarys in this url ( http://code.x2go.org/releases/source/nx-libs/) so i compile and install one by one from this repository. Now, in this moment i try to do the 12 point compile and install x2goserver from git, but when i do a make comand, the sistem block in this part for man_page in 'cd man && fin * -type f'; do man2html man/$man_pag > .build_man2html/html/$man_page.html;done and noting happend. can any helpme? -- todo se puede mi warrior C.A.P.L

Capture client-side error messages?

I'm attempting to setup x2go with Debian (wheezy) on an ec2-instance and the OS X client (this is my first attempt to use x2go). I'm getting error messages, but the window that displays them closes after a one or two seconds, so I can't read them. Is there a way to log the error messages with the OS X client? Or to keep the window open? thanks

Arrow keys problems with openSUSE

Hello, I'm having the problem with arrow keys, i.e. when I press the down array key it's translated to the return key. I've tried with the command x2gosetkeyboard in the server-side but It didn't work. I'm using openSUSE 12.3 on both machines(server and client) I have configured KDE with spanish keyboard layout and pc105/es keyboard type in both machines. In x2goclient I have unchecked the option "Keep current keyboard Settings" (checked doesn't work either). The values here are: Keyboard layout:es Keyboard model: pc105/es Regards. Carlos

Black screen for existing session

Hi there, After the recent Ubuntu update of x2go I'm having some problems with my windows client on Windows 7: Everytime I try to resume a session the screen goes completly dark, even the x2go logo dosn't appear. The only way I can regain graphics is to terminate the session and start it again. I try then to update the Client to the last on the site and the problem is still hapening. Sometimes I run the install for Windows and the problem is solved but this seems a question of "luck" since this dosn't allways solve the problem. The server is using gnome. also, I try to decrease the bandwith and image quality in the session options but didn't work and even create a new Windows profile and run a fresh x2go profile. How are connection failures handled?

I need to know how connections failure are handled by x2go. E.g. Suppose a session is running a gui application (such as Netbeans) in gnome on the server, and the connection is lost. Is the application killed? Or is it possible to reconnect to the same session? thanks PS if there's any documentation on this sort of thing, I'd like to know where to find it - I haven't been able to locate any.
