suspended sessions are not restoring

I mentioned this problem last week and went back and forth a few times but there was no resolution. Since I am being paid to implement this I have no choice but to bring it up again. My apologies. I have the broker running on a login server and my applications running on 3 x2go servers. Everything is working fine except for this one thing. I can suspend a session, and when I run x2golistsessions I am seeing the suspended sessions in the database. But when I run the same application the suspended session is not starting up, I am getting a new one. I can verify that because if I run x2golistsessions while the new session is running I see two sessions in the database. I've tried taking two of my application servers out of the picture and limiting it to 1, but I still see the same thing. I've got PostgreSQL running on my broker server, and all the application servers access it without a problem. At least I can run x2golistsessions on all three without a problem. If it matters, after running x2goversion on the application servers I'm seeing this x2goserver: 4.1.0.0 x2goserver-common: 4.1.0.0 x2goserver-extensions: 4.1.0.0 x2goserver-x2goagent: 3.5.99.16 x2goserver-xsession: 4.1.0.0 And on the broker server I see this X2goserver: 4.1.0.2 X2goserver-common: 4.1.0.2 X2goserver-extensions: 4.1.0.2 X2goserver-x2goagent: 3.5.99.16 X2goserver-xsession: 4.1.0.2 Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Broker and resuming sessions

First a little explanation of the architecture. The login server load balances sessions between 3 servers where the actual applications run. That part is working fine. The problem is when I suspend a session instead of ending it. My understanding was that if I chose the same session profile it would resume my application at the same point. That's not what I'm seeing. First, when I run x2golistsessions it does not show my currently running session. Then if I suspend the session I still don't see it listed. I've checked it on all three of the servers. Then when I run the same session it is starting a new one rather than resuming. Well, I guess it can't do anything else since my session isn't stored. Can I suspend a session in this kind of environment? The documentation seems to say I can. Is there something special I have to do in the client to get it working? Currently the only command line option I am using with the client is -broker-url=http://<hostmane>:8080/plain/inifile Should I use something else? x2goclient on openSUSE Tumbleweed

I'm trying to install x2goclient on openSUSE Tumbleweed following the official x2go guide that can be found here: https://wiki.x2go.org/doku.php/wiki:repositories:suse After adding the repo, I do a "zypper refresh" followed by a "zypper install x2goclient" but unfortunately the installation cannot proceed because I obtain the following error: "Problem: nothing provides libssh.so.4(LIBSSH_0.7.2)(64bit) needed by x2goclient-4.1.1.1-1.6.x86_64 Solution 1: do not install x2goclient-4.1.1.1-1.6.x86_64 Solution 2: break x2goclient-4.1.1.1-1.6.x86_64 by ignoring some of its dependencies Choose from above solutions by number or cancel [1/2/c] (c):" Is there a way to solve this? Both libssh4 and libssh-devel versions installed on the system are 0.8.3-1.1. Tell me if I've to provide further informations. Matlab in X2go

I'm having some issues using Matlab2018a in X2go. When using xfce4 (and KDE) desktop it causes some exception when the X2go window is hidden or resized. It also will hide all of the button widgets in Matlab until I mouse over them. When I change the session type to 'Single Application: Terminal', and then typing 'matlab &' in the terminal it works perfectly fine. Problem connecting via intermediate site

I have x2go working perfectly OK when connecting across my LAN, so the basics are OK. However it doesn't work when connecting my laptop when I'm away from home (i.e. not on the LAN). When I'm away from home I connect via an intermediate site to my home system, i.e. in my ~/.ssh/config file I have the following:- # # # esprimo may be remote or local # Match host esprimo exec "hostNotLocal esprimo" ForwardX11 true ProxyCommand ssh cheddar nc -q0 zbmc.eu 22 host esprimo ForwardX11 true So when I'm not on the home LAN I connect via 'cheddar' to my home machine. Can I get x2go to do the same thing somehow? Or, even better, can I get x2go to use a connection already set up by ssh in 'ControlMaster' mode? -- Chris Green

Hi, ( Sorry for resending due to a mistake in format...) I'm going to setup a PC Pool of about 40 clients to use X2go TCE. The last wiki changes on TCE-Live are from February ("This page is very much Work in Progess."). Should I start by the traditional way, so called TCE-Classic? Thanks for your response in advance. I am having difficulty connecting with the most recent stable of x2go for Windows on Windows 10 to my Linux servers. I am getting a KEX error (Key exchange error).
