Local printing fails with Windows client

Hi everybody We have installed X2Go server and it works fine. When connecting from Linux client everything works fine, remote printing too. But when we try to use remote printing from Windows (XP and 7) client it doesn't work. No error messages shown. Write printing document as a PDF file does work. Here I list server versions * cups-x2go: 3.0.1.0 * x2goagent: 3.5.0.27 * x2golxdebindings: 1.0.2.2 * x2goserver: 4.0.1.15 * x2goserver-extensions: 4.0.1.15 * x2goserver-printing: 4.0.1.15 * x2goserver-xsession: 4.0.1.15 Windows 7 client uses 4.0.2.1 build 4. Usage question - multiple destination sessions?

I have x2go configured on a mac system and I use it to connect to a remote Linux system. Works fine. However, I would like to be able to open a second session on a different Linux system. Is this possible? Right now, it appears that everything hangs when I do that. I’m guessing there are ports that are being reused – probably for the display, but I don’t know anything about x2go configuration files…. If this isn’t possible, is there some way to get multiple, simultaneous access to different remote systems using x2go? I have seen this once or twice, but it was not reproducible. What are your settings for SSH authentication in the session profile configuration? Can you make a screenshot? Is ssh-agent running and have you loaded your SSH private keys into ssh-agent? Or does pyhoca-gui try to detect some default private key file in ~/.ssh? What hostkey types are configured on the X2Go Server (check /etc/ssh/sshd_config, HostKey parameter). Packer script and public x2go AMI

Greetings. I recently wrote a tutorial on x2go and have been playing with it some more. I've also started implementing my tutorials as packer scripts. Packer.io is a pretty cool tool that builds various virtual images (amis, vbox, vmware, GCE etc). It allows provisioning via scripts/chef/puppet etc. Anyway, my scripts to create an X2Go server are here: https://github.com/wikidsystems/packer_templates/tree/master/x2go. The AMI is public. It is ami-c854d7a0. Pam-radius is not configured out of the box, you need to do some editing in /etc/pam.d/ssh and /etc/raddb/server for it to work. But with the ami, you can 1. log in as root 2. add a user and have them log in with the x2go client. So, an easy way to play with x2go. client side printing

I am having big trouble administering client side print functionality. I have installed the x2go print package on the server. The user is in the fuse group and there is a spool-dir mounted. In the X2Go Client I configured client side printing. bmayr@127.0.0.1:/home/bmayr/.x2go/S-root-50-1413989095_stDLXDE_dp24/spool on /tmp/.x2go-root/spool/C-root-50-1413989095_stDLXDE_dp24 type fuse.sshfs (rw,nosuid,nodev,default_permissions) When I start a print job, nothing happens. The cups-access log says: localhost - - [22/Oct/2014:17:03:01 +0200] "POST /printers/Virtual_X2Go_Printer HTTP/1.1" 200 21992 Print-Job successful-ok Any ideas what I can do to enable client side printing? Help requested to debug kde session failure

Hi I need some help debugging my failing x2go sessions please. Client is v4.0.2.1 on OSX Mavericks. Server is 4.0.1.18 on Fedora 20. This is one of Orion's builds for Fedora. I've been using server version 4.0.1.15 for some time, but its a bit flakey in the sense that often it is not easy to reconnect to a session, ie it takes several attempts or the session must be killed and started a fresh. I was trying to see whether the 4.0.1.18 server would fix this issue but it seems to have bigger problems for me. What works is: 1) Connecting to another Fedora 20 system running v4.0.1.15 server on with a KDE session but with the problem of not being able to resume sessions reliably. 2) Connecting to the 4.0.1.18 x2goserver with a single terminal session. What fails is: Connecting to the 4.0.1.18 x2goserver with a KDE session. I get no session at all, and in the client window I get a message simliar to "your connection was closed before it got into a usable state". The connection dialogue disappears before I can read it all, and I can't see where it is saved. In /tmp/.x2go-rmj/C-rmj-159-1414083481_stDKDE_dp32: the state file says STARTING the cmdoutput file says: exec startkde Output of session.log is appended at the bottom. There is more debug info available from /var/log/messages from having set loglevel debug in /etc/x2go/x2goserver.conf which I'm happy to share off line. I've tried setting full debugging in kdebugdialog but nothing at all was logged to ~/.xsession-errors. I'd appreciate any pointers to how to debug this further. I can, of course, log in a KDE session on the console of the system running the 4.0.1.18 server and a simple x2go session running only the Terminal appliation works too on that server. x2go 4.0.3.0.client for OSX

Hi I was looking for the recently announced x2go v4.0.3.0 client for OSX at http://code.x2go.org/releases/binary-macosx/x2goclient/releases/ but the latest there is 4.0.2.1 dated 21 Oct 09:29. Does this directory take a while to sync up with releases or am I looking in the wrong place? I notice that the heuler directory has 4.0.3.0 subdirectory with a 4.0.3.0 x2goclient dmg.
