Bug#1173: stDXFCE_dp24: is blocked

Package: x2go-server Version: 4.0.1.20 Dear all, I have an Ubuntu 16.04.2 LTS (Server) which is integrated in the Windows Active Directory (AD). The user authentification is done via Kerberos followed here: https://help.ubuntu.com/community/ActiveDirectoryWinbindHowto The directories are also mounted automatically every time the user logs on via pam_mount: <volume user="*" fstype="cifs" server="fileserver1" path="home/%(DOMAIN_USER)" mountpoint="/home/%(DOMAIN_USER)"/> This works quite nice and I can login via ssh with the user names of the AD. I also would like to use x2go for the AD users. However, it works fine when I try to connect to the server (called ssh or ssh2) from the internal network (192.168.0.0). The users get their remote desktops. However, if they try to login remotely from another subnet the session could not be initialized. I was looking for the problem the last 3 weeks. Of course the first idea was due to a misconfigured firewall. The configuration is as follows: INTERNET ----- NAT1 -----(192.168.183.0)------ NAT2 ----(192.168.0.0)------ ssh-server I replaced the firewall, I put the PC (ssh-server) directly after the NAT. I had a look in all network connections with wireshark. I opened all ports. None of these things solved the problem. However, I can login with a local user (user account on the ssh-server) on the ssh-server but not with a user of the AD (username test01). I set the logging to the debug mode and I see that a file is always blocked. I do not understand why this file is blocked if I login from another subnet. Maybe this is not a bug I do not know and I do not understand this behavior. Socket error: Unknown error from X2Go client

I am trying to connect to Ubuntu workstation remotely usingX2GO client. My co-workers can connect without any problem. But when I try, Iget an error "Socket error: Unknown error". I uninstalled andreinstalled X2GO client on my windows8. 1 workstation but nothing helped. In the past I was able to connectbut not anymore. I am not sure whats conflicting. Any advice? x2goclient crashes gnome-session

Hi, It appears that invoking x2goclient crashes my gnome-session on Fedora 24 with my custom setup (gnome-session-test). After the black x2go box comes up, it quickly disappears along with the gnome-session that was there before I invoked x2go client. The only thing left on the screen is the wallpaper. I can't bring up a gnome-terminal from the "Activities" menu (the cursor spins for a moment and then nothing happens). The only thing I can do is to logout. Here is some info from /var/log/messages. Let me know if (and how to obtain) any additional info that I need to provide. Thanks.

I have a question. What is the size of the minimal image XGO ThinClient? At the moment, we are not interested in paid support. Full path in the tree is [live-build-x2go.git]/config/includes.chroot/lib/live/config/2800-x2go-thinclientconfig. It provides two things: 1) handle backgroundurl option as passed in as a kernel boot option and used by --background flag when invoking x2goclient on the commandline 2) handle brandingurl option as passed in as a kernel boot option and used by --branding flag when invoking x2goclient on the commandline per patch provided in bug #1162 This patch was built and tested against the most recent commit to the branch with id e4cfc12441e587d89d0b2b90021ee5fb5799a46f and timestamped Sun, 29 Jan 2017 13:53:42 +0000 (14:53 +0100). Package: nx-libs Version: 3.5.0.33 When I attempt to update to X2Go nightly builds on Fedora via these instructions: http://wiki.x2go.org/doku.php/wiki:repositories:fedora (Last updated 2016-11-01) I receive this error: Error: Package x2goagent-3.5.0.33-0.0x2go1.0.git20170309.756.heuler.fc25.x86_64.rpm is not signed I worked around this by passing --nogpgcheck: sudo dnf update --nogpgcheck
