Had the same - unter x2go, pop up window: Could not acquire name on session bus System : zesty Desktop: ubuntu-mate edit the file: /etc/systemd/system/display-manager.service right under section [Service] add: unset SESSION_MANAGER unset DBUS_SESSION_BUS_ADDRESS And reboot the machine. Hi, Please help me in configuring X2Go, I have already configured X2Go sever and able to connect from client. I just want to know, does it support multiple cluster nodes? If yes, please share me installation document. I have already searched and found X2Go broker but it is very difficult to understand how to configure. Please help me on this also. I'm using Ubuntu 14.X and Centos 6.X Thanks, -\Ashok Barik

Bug#1135: MySQL Database backend support

package: x2goserver priority: wishlist tags: patch This is a proposal patch for a MySQL session storage database backend for X2Go Server. I did this simply because : 1) I'm not used to PostgreSQL and much more skilled with MySQL 2) I do believe MySQL is pretty common on Linux and is widely spread so I guess this can be useful for many other people willing to build a strong TCE setup and not willing to dig into PostgreSQL 3) I find it a lot easier to build a multi-master replication scenario with MySQL than with PostgreSQL (but as I said, I'm much more skilled wih MySQL) This backend is tightly inspired by the PostgreSQL backend and work exactly the same so this is a drop in replacement for it, til now, all my tests seems to work correctly, feel free to test by yourself and report errors. Start up finishes but the panel in either KDE or LXDE is not shown. I press Alt+F2 to open the 'Run' application and start xterm. I run 'xrandr -s 1280x720', the x2go/X11 window size changes OK and the menu in either KDE or LXDE shows up automatically. I saw that someone had ran into this bug in 2012: http://readlist.com/lists/gentoo.org/gentoo-user/33/169010.html but there was just a temporary resolution to the problem.

FYI, this problem goes away when the server is upgraded to nx-libs 3.6 beta. Tested with nx-libs 3.5.99.4 & 3.5.99.7 on RHEL 7.3. https://copr.fedorainfracloud.org/coprs/mikedep333/nx-libs-3.6/

Bug#1182: nxagent 3.6 and KDE4 causes X2Go Client for Windows's session window to "jump" up and down

Package: x2goclient Version: 4.1.0.0 Note: It is unclear whether this is a bug in nx-libs or x2goclient/VcXsrv Note: This bug does not occur with nxagent 3.5 (& x2goserver 4.0.1.20-1.el7 from EPEL) Note: This bug does not occur for Linux clients. Steps: 1. Start a KDE4 session in windowed mode. 2. Maximize the session. 3. Observe that the session window "jumps" up and down by tens of pixels. This happens repeatedly and very quickly. It has the appearance of it flickering almost. It makes it largely unusable. Note: This seems to go away on its own after seconds on my Windows 10 client, but it lasted indefinitely on my Windows 7 client. Server: CentOS 7.3 with KDE4 & x2goserver 4.1.0.0 nightly & nx-libs 3.5.99.7 (from copr repo mikedep333/nx-libs-3.6) Client 1: Windows 7 x64 SP1 with X2Go Client 4.1.0.0-2017.03.11 Client 2 Configuration 1: Windows 10 1703 x64 with X2Go Client 4.1.0.0-2017.03.11 (This has nx-libs 3.5.0.32) Client 2 Configuration 2: Windows 10 1703 x64 with X2Go Client 4.1.0.0-2017.03.11 & VcXsrv 1.19.2.0 (I replaced the VcXsrv subfolder) (This has nx-libs 3.5.0.32)
