USB webcam does not work

Hi! From my webcam (Microsoft lifecam 3000 HD) works under x2go TCE only the microphone, but no picture. I can also not check anything and come no further, since the webcam is not shown with lsusb in shell. (By the way, other USB devices are full not recognized, as my external hdd and a BlueRay drive. Via USB, only the microphone of the webcam and USB sticks works so far.) How do I get the webcam to run? Bye, Olaf

Hi! My thinclient loads x2go tce (Ubuntu 14.04) over pxe. What do I have to do to make sound work? Extract from my /opt/x2gothinclient/etc/x2gothinclient_sessions: ... sound=true soundsystem=pulse startsoundsystem=true soundtunnel=true defsndport=true sndport=4713 ... Bye, Olaf

Installation Instructions for mTelePlayer/Telekinesis?

Hi! First of all, let me say thanks for providing X2Go, it's really great, I am now using it everywhere instead of nomachine/freenx, which I have enjoyed using for more than 10 years.. Now, I do have a recent use-case where I'd like to play-back video over x2go, and I came across the mTelePlayer project; I saw that there are Ubuntu packages in a PPA, but I am not totally sure how to set it up - when I just start mTelePlayer on my remote x2go desktop, it just gives me this message: "No Telekinesis local socket available at: <someDir> Is Telekinesis even running?" Now, I am not sure where I have to run what; on my x2go server, I installed mteleplayer, and then also both telekinesis-client and -server. I then further installed both telekinesis also on the machine I use as a client, and opened a new x2go session - still the same message. I searched around, but couldn't find any Howto/readme. Could you help me out with some short instructions? Thanks, Rudolf

Hello! I use the x2go tce with pxe-boot and would like to use USB hardware to my client (DVD- and BlueRay-burner, external hard drive, etc.). However, no device is detected when I plugged in. What do I have to do to make this work? Best regards, Olaf

Quick Launcher

I'm trying to add a quick launcher for someone on his desktop, a Windows system. Any pointers as to how to do this? When I try to add a launcher, it launches X2go and then he has to click further. I want a launcher that just logs him straight in. I've set up certificate based login.

opensuse client - reverse tunnel problem

Is anybody able to use x2go client with reverse tunel (folder sharing and/or client side printing) om Opensuse I get the same server with reverse ssh tunnel working perfectly well when connected from ubuntu and failing if used from Opensuse Leap 42.1 nor Tumbleweed

Desktop does not resize

I'm having the exact same problem: http://unix.stackexchange.com/questions/233163/how-to-fix-x2go-desktop-that… Except that I erased the .kde config, to start fresh and it did not improve the situation. I also specified 800 x 600 as window size, but x2go resizes the window without me asking to do so to full display size and it is still not enough to display everything, the task bar for example (kde) is off screen. Mint 18

I upgraded a machine to mint, did all the same thing as I've done on the Ubuntu systems but when I try to install x2goagent, it complains about the version of "nxagent". I tried upgrading nxagent, no help.
