Hello. If I am connected with linux x2go client to the server to me the full screen, but with an opportunity to minimize or maximize it with the help by a mouse is necessary. I know about hot buttons, but it not that it is necessary for my users. And they not always work:( Whether there is an opportunity to have a control bar a x2go session in the full-screen mode as it is made in Remmina or MS-RDP-Client? I enclosed screenshots of their control bars in the letter what would be clear. If I am able to do it - help to configure it please. If there is no such function, then tell is in development plans? X2goServer successfully connects to server, but no window is shown

Hi there, After installing X2GO server, in a Debian/LXDE server, I tried to connect to it but the next window, within the console doesn’t show up, I found this discussion in the Forum, but even after installing nx-libs and x2go agent, the problem still remains. https://bugs.x2go.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=516 <https://bugs.x2go.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=516> The status says Finished, the console icon appears in the menu, but the console window just doesn’t come up. Then, if I tried once more, the Status box shows the last connection, in order to resume to the last session opened. Thus, it seems that the connection went through, but there is something missing in the server side to deliver console display. What package/library should be missing. p.s. logs show no errors so far. tail -f /var/log/messages | grep x2go Best wishes, I

X2GoClient installation

Hi there, In attempt to install x2go client on my Debian LXDE, I’ve noticed the installation is incomplete. Shortcuts and and libraries weren’t installed. and when I tried to start the application it doesn’t come up. X2Go console doesn’t appear in the screen. I installed x2go package through apt install ~# apt install x2goclient Do I need to install other required package ? (dpkg list is bellow) Best wishes, I

Attempt to install x2gobroker

Furthermore, in attempt to install x2gobroker, it returns errors because "python3-wsgilog" library doesn’t exist. black screen on resuming session

Help need with Linux-Linux Kerberos Authentication

Hello there. We're trying to use X2Go in our campus as a user friendly Linux-Linux remote desktop solution. We would also like a SingleSingOn approach, so we chose to use kerberos authentication between the Linux clients and the X2Go server. We already have a working KDC that authenticates a SSH server, as a test. On the client I have the Kerberos 5 Auth. option checked, but when I attempt the connection, the screen remains blank and never connects. I checked at myself at the test stand as removal of usb drive works After disconnection of usb disk from the thin client Console of the thin client: ls /media/ Data_Treveler After remove usb drive the directory for mount automatically was not removed... We go on the server. We see the link "Data_Treveler" on a desktop and in / home/user/media/rm/Data_Treveler We return to the console of the thin client rm -rf /media/Data_Treveler Now on the thin client there is no Data_Treveler directory On the server in / home/user/media/rm/is empty as well as should be. But the link "Data_Treveler" on a desktop remained. Why I show consideration for it? If during one session the user used many different usb disks, then it will have many not working links on a desktop (garbage) and in / home/media/. The description of a problem in my native language is lower При подключении usb диска к тонкому клиенту на нем создается каталог для ее монтирования (например /media/Kingston) Эта же директория пробрасывается на сервер x2go и там доступна. При отключении usb диска каталог монтирования /media/Kingston не удаляется автоматически на тонком клиенте и соответственно он виден на сервере, но пустой. Это вводит в заблуждение пользователей. Я думаю что при отключении usb диска на тонком клиенте должен удаляться каталог монтирования (в нашем случае /media/Kingston), а на сервере удаляться ссылки на флешку с рабочего стола и каталога пользователя -- С Уважением Строганов Роман

Yes, that that went not so. Checksum of my patch was another. I applied yours. Checksum coincided. usb drive are mounted well. Russian is displayed correctly both on the thin client and on the server. To work with objects with the Russian names became possible. Thanks a lot for the help! But me the small mistake seems to eat in a script. After shutdown of usb drive of a directory of assembling are not removed automatically on the thin client and continue to be displayed on the server, but empty.
