x2gobroker on CentOS 7

Hi guys, I’m trying to install the broker on a CentOS 7 machine (rpms not on epel, so downloading from x2go’s repos) but it complains about several python3 dependencies. Even with python36 installed it cannot find python3 and related packages. Any idea? Cheers

x2go and Ubuntu 18.04 server

Hi all, I'm trying to use x2go-server on a headless machine for virt-manager with x2go-client on Win10. I did not install any desktop environment. x2go terminates the connection immediately, no window is shown. If I use VcXsrv with putty, virt-manager is working fine. Thanks! The client OS is in fact Windows, and I think they only have single user (like home edition or whats it called). We have tried connecting via putty and straight SSH works. We have tried giving x2go client a standalone VcxSrv but didn¹nt help. As I wrote before the application (firefox, openoffice) work quickly everywhere. LinuxLite 3.8/LinuxLite 4.2/Ubuntu 18.04 When I understood it I decided to change default style (Adapta) and icon theme (Papirus-Adapta) in LinLite 4.2 for others (did on the server not through x2go). After having connected by this user through x2go I found out that everything works quickly. I decided to double-check it. And again changed style and icons for default (Adapta) I very much was surprised, but everything continued to work quickly and well. I several times perezagrugit the x2go server every time being connected to it by the same user again and everything works quickly with windows and linux of clients. After I was connected from the thin client of TCE by the same user and all very slowly. Now I have such stable results with the user of "test" (Settings of clients identical): Windows client = quickly Linux client = quickly Thin client of TCE = very slowly Connection by any users not of "test" (Tried to change styles and icons): Windows client = very slowly Linux client = very slowly Thin client of TCE = very slowly I could not repeat magic which turned out with the user of "test" with other users. I cannot understand dependence in what prevents the x2go server to work quickly. But I was convinced that x2go the server can quickly work with linux Lite 4.2 Maybe somebody will prompt what in my case prevents x2go to work quickly? HI All, A user of our system recently come with the following errors while trying to use X2go client on Windows 10. === Info: Forwarding X11 connections to display 'localhost:0'. Session: Session started at 'Thu Feb 14 12:51:37 2019'. Warning: Protocol mismatch or no X authentication data. Session: Terminating session at 'Thu Feb 14 12:51:41 2019'. Info: Your session was closed before reaching a usable state. Info: This can be due to the local X server refusing access to the client. Info: Please check authorization provided by the remote X application. Session: Session terminated at 'Thu Feb 14 12:51:41 2019'. === We are running X2go servers on CentOS 6 Linux; other clients (MacOS, other users with Windows 7 and 10) seem to connect fine. So the problem likely is with the client. I believe the Windows x2go client comes with an X11 server bundled with it and configured. Could anyone suggest what could be the reason for such errors, have anyone encountered them before? Any advice much appreciated! Low speed of x2go server

Hello! I configured x2go server on linux lite 3.8 (package base ubuntu 16.04 x64 xfce) clients on windiws, linux and the thin clients loaded with tce. Work speed very good. But I need to pass to linux lite 4 (package base ubuntu 18.04 x64 xfce) When I set Linux lite 4 and x2go server at connection to it from any client work speed very much and very low. It is impossible to work normally!: ( I use identical methods of a compression both in new and in the old version of the server. X2GO Client : automatic connection of 1 session to server

Hi ! i use various installation server/client, only linux, in various situation of server and client, ubuntu, centos, and DE. Now, i need to connect some desktop to one server. I have configured one session on one client, then using command : x2goclient --sessionid=<mysession-id> This one command go perfectly, but need to write password, then i need parameter or method to set user password without prompt, and need also, parameter to set fullscreen.
