Problem with ALT GR key wth linux client

Hello, I'm running the following setup: X2Go Server 4.1.0.3-5 on Ubuntu 20.04 with XFCE X2Go Client 4.1.2.2-0 on Ubuntu 18.0.4 X2Go Client 4.1.2.2 on Windows 10 On the Linux client I have removed the directories ~/x2go and ~/.x2goclient. I now connect to the server and open a terminal windows. Pressing ALTGR + 7 gives me a "7", STRG+ALT+7 gives me a "7", too. Pressing the up arrow key, doesn't display the last command, instead I get the error, that xfce-screenshooter couldn't be started. I found some older posting about this problem and followed the suggestions: setxkbmap -print xkb_keymap { xkb_keycodes { include "xfree86+aliases(qwertz)" }; xkb_types { include "complete" }; xkb_compat { include "complete" }; xkb_symbols { include "pc+de(nodeadkeys)+inet(pc105)+group(switch)" }; xkb_geometry { include "pc(pc105)" }; }; stefan@x2go:~$ setxkbmap de stefan@x2go:~$ setxkbmap -print xkb_keymap { xkb_keycodes { include "xfree86+aliases(qwertz)" }; xkb_types { include "complete" }; xkb_compat { include "complete" }; xkb_symbols { include "pc+de+inet(pc105)+group(switch)" }; xkb_geometry { include "pc(pc105)" }; }; But even after setting the keymap to "de" I get "7" instead of "{". The strange thing is, that if I use the windows x2go client, everything is fine. The bracket is displayed and the arrow key is working as expected. Does anyone has an idea or suggestion to this? High latency in Java based applications (dbeaver)

Hi, When using X2Go to work on Java-based applications (specifically, the Eclipse-based dbeaver dbeaver.io), there is a considerable latency. It's particularly sever when presenting dialogs, with some of them taking 3-8 second to appear (vs. <1 second locally). The raw latency from the machine to the server is quite low (10-15 ms), and: 1. Other application (via X2Go) work faster (although not completely latency-free). 2. The same program (dbeaver) works almost smoothly with other remote-desktops (e.g. NoMachine). How can this be debugged? What else can be done to improve it? Details: - which operating systems and versions are being used on the server and client, Server: Ubuntu 20.04. Client: Edition Windows 10 Home Version 20H2 Installed on ‎5/‎4/‎2021 OS build 19042.1052 Experience Windows Feature Experience Pack 120.2212.2020.0 - which versions of X2GoServer and X2GoClient are being used Client: 4.1.2.2 (Qt 4.8.6) Server: x2goserver 4.1.0.3-5 - any changes you may have made to the default configuration of the server, No changes were made. - the session settings used on the client Connection: WAN Resolution: 1920x1080 Display DPI 96 Compression: 16m-jpeg Image quality: 5 Desktop environment: XFCE. - the name of the application you are experiencing issues with dbeaver (dbeaver.io)

Shutting down a remote computer via x2go

Working at home I want to shutdown my remote computer in the office via x2go on Friday evening and switch it back on by WakeOnLan on Monday morning. But no matter if i try to switch the remote computer off by pressing the 'Shutdown-Button' in the window of the remote desktop or by entering the command "qdbus-qt5 org.kde.ksmserver /KSMServer org.kde.KSMServerInterface.logout 0 2 2" in the command line, the x2go-Server only logs me off instead of shutting down the remote computer. Performance issues + losing mouse click ability & keyboard events

Hi everybody, we currently have some serious issues with x2go on our servers, performance issues plus pretty much exactly what was described here: https://www.mail-archive.com/x2go-user@lists.x2go.org/msg04009.html We have two servers running Ubuntu20.04 LTS with xfce4 (lightdm) with barely any issues for almost 6 months. In the past weeks, several users experienced serious performance issues, followed by the issue that mouse and keyboard are unusable. This issue seems to be resolved (until it appears again) by killing all user processes and logging in again. If I simply quit from x2go client side and reconnect, the issue remains. I don´t see anything "obvious" in the logs, but tbh I don´t even know what I´m looking for. I´m currently trying to reproduce these issues on a VM, but no luck (yet). Someone got an Idea? No desktop armbian server debian client

My setup is an armbian server and a debian client. Both are up to date with the latest releases of all software. I have just now installed the latest distro versions of x2go I configured my client to use XFCE and ensured xfce was installed on the server The server starts fine and I can connect from the client and get prompted for password. I can see the session on the server using ps ax 4504 ? username sessions begin even after reboot without login on Ubuntu 20.04

Hello, Recently working on a new system using x2go on Ubuntu 20.04 linux. Noticed something different that we never experienced previously on 18.04. Reboots usually clear all sessions per user. Is there some setting one can change in x2go for Ubuntu 20.04, so these processes aren't running if a person hasn't logged in x2goclient session after reboot? Thanks. h.
