[Debian repository] stable link points to buster instead of bullseye

@ the Debian repository admin: When running "apt update" I get this warning: W: Conflicting distribution: http://packages.x2go.org/debian stable InRelease (expected stable but got buster) In /etc/apt/sources.list.d/x2go.list I have: deb http://packages.x2go.org/debian stable main I think there the "stable" link points to buster: http://packages.x2go.org/debian/dists/ R. -- richard lucassen http://contact.xaq.nl/

No connetion after Update to Ubuntu 22.04 (Openssh)

Hi, with latest version of Ubuntu I'm getting an error when trying to connect with windows x2go client to Ubuntu 22.04 machine (I think it's not so relevant that it's ubuntu 22.04 but newer openssh version 8.9): "kex error: no match for method kex algos:server [Diffie-hellman-group-exchange-sha256], client [curve255519-sha256(a)libssh.org,ecdh-sha2-nistp256,Diffie-hellman-group14-sha 1,Diffie-hellman-group1-sha1]" I have tried to adapt sshd_config via: "HostKeyAlgorithms ecdsa-sha2-nistp256-cert-v01@openssh.com,ecdsa-sha2-nistp384-cert-v01@openss h.com,ecdsa-sha2-nistp521-cert-v01@openssh.com,ssh-ed25519-cert-v01@openssh. com,ssh-rsa-cert-v01@openssh.com,ssh-dss-cert-v01@openssh.com,ecdsa-sha2-nis tp256,ecdsa-sha2-nistp384,ecdsa-sha2-nistp521,ssh-ed25519,ssh-rsa,ssh-dss" After that I have restarted sshd service but that did not help. I also tried: HostKeyAlgorithms ssh-rsa,ssh-dss PubkeyAcceptedKeyTypes ssh-rsa,ssh-dss The error message is the same. So I assume that the error is not what the message is telling me but I know that with some of the latest openssh versions several other clients run into problems (putty latest versions fixed it, jump desktop - setting PubkeyAcceptedKeyTypes=+ssh-rsa did work) Any ideas?

All windows nightly build .exe file have new time stamps?

Was looking at the nightly builds, and noticed that all the .exe files had the same date/time stamp (back to the 2019 builds). Is that expected?

Broker and file sharing

I am looking at the settings in my x2gobroker-sessionprofiles.conf, and it seems to indicate the broker can set some defaults to turn off allowing printers, and filesystems to be shared. useexports=false print=false I have tried turning these on, and I don't believe they are working. Specifically if I connect to the broker, then a server it servs out. Once connected, I can use the x2go Client window's share folder button. In there I can define an export, and then highlight it and press share. This will then show up on the workstation. Am I missing something? What do these options do if not turn on/off the ability for the user to make these shares? If I wanted to disable these shares/printing, and then enable them for specific hosts by overriding it, are there other options I can activate to achieve this?

x2go server on debian: readonly partition

I am running x2go server on debian testing and connecting to it from another linux machine. Everything works fine but occasionally (approximately after 2-3 days of use over which I connect and disconnect from the client many times), the host machine says the /tmp/... is on a read-only partition, and everything stops working. x2go client does not connect when this happens. I can ssh to the server but nothing works on it. I am unable to even cleanly reboot the machine when that happens. I only need to physically hard-boot the machine. I don't know if this is happening because of x2go, but it never happened before I started dabbling with x2go. Is this a known problem? Any ideas about how to debug? V.

Suspend on disconnect

Does x2go cleanly suspend if the client loses connection or the laptop running the client is just suspended by turning the screen shut? Do the user systemd services keep running when x2go session is suspended? Something like what would happen when a tmux/screen session is detached. V.

Unlock screen in KDE

Not really a X2go problem, but we use X2go at the IT University of Copenhagen. I prefer to use it with KDE, and apart from the slow startup it works really well against our Centos 8 servers. As I mostly like to run full screen to ensure that Alt+Tab and other shortcut operates as expected. But this gives one problem: When I leave my workstation I am used to lock my keyboard by pressing Ctl+Alt+l but this in full screen this locks the remote desktop - and I find no way to unlocking it again. As a workaround I changed the lock keycombination on the remote, but I would like some proper way to unlock the remote. Any suggestions? -- Regards Klaus

Are there any updated instructions for this: https://wiki.x2go.org/doku.php/wiki:development:glx-xlib-workaround ? I am unable to build the mesa driver on debian testing. The recent versions do not allow the option "glx=gallium-xlib" while the older versions do not build. Has anyone tried this recently? Unfortunately several of the applications I use are not working because of this. V.

Unlock or disable KDE Screen saver

Hello Anyone found a way to disable the KDE screen saver or know how to unlock the damm thing? I have disabled the timer based lock. But when I leave my desk at work, I have always been used to hit Ctrl, Alt, L and the screen locks. This is very difficult to unlearn and when I do lock it, I have found absolutely no way to unlock the screen without killing the remote desktop. -- Regards Klaus
