Bug#992: logging X2Go sessions to /var/log/[b|w]tmp and /var/run/utmp like XDM does

Package: nxproxy Severity: wishlist Logins to a system by means of a [x-]terminal or display manager are written to /var/log/[b|w]tmp and/or /var/run/utmp. Tools like 'w' and 'last' read from there to report current and past logins. In this respect, I wish for X2Go to behave like a (regular local) display manager, and suggest it writes session information to the said files. Thanks for all the good work in X2Go in the past and future! Holger P.S.: Please reassign bug to the appropriate X2Go component. 'nxproxy' was just a wild guess made by me.

Bug#826: shadow sessions inside nxagent sessions fail

Package: nxagent Severity: important Version: 3.5.0.29 Control: forwarded -1 https://github.com/ArcticaProject/nx-libs/issues/6 We just tried to run cascaded sessions with one of them being a desktop sharing session: (a) from client (host-A) launch X2Go session to a remote server (server-B) (b) from X2Go session on server-B launch a remote desktop sharing session with :0 on remote host-C Result: a black nxagent window appears (inside the X2Go Session on server-B) that accepts mouse and keyboard input (which both arrive on host-C via desktop sharing). If I manage to move a window via the desktop sharing session, the black nxagent window does some screen updates, but no full view of the remotely shared desktop appears. Bug#759: x2goclient 4.0.5.0 (and 4.0.5.1 preview) frequent ssh commands don't free resources

I've run in to this problem as well, with these x2go versions: Client (Mac) * x2goclient 4.0.5.0 (OS X 10.9+ build) or 4.0.5.1 preview (December 2015 build) * OS X 10.11.3 * XQuartz 2.7.8 Server (Linux) * x2goagent: 3.5.0.32 * x2goserver: 4.0.1.19 * x2goserver-extensions: 4.0.1.19 * Fedora 23 (with updates as of 2016-02-17) Steps to reproduce: 1. Run 'x2goclient --debug' and open a session 2. Observe frequent xmodmap commands while session is active 3. Quit session to see a large number of SshProcess objects freed This came to my attention because the default SELinux/audit settings on Fedora 23 log five events for each xmodmap ssh command executed on the server by the client. That's 1800 events per hour when an x2go session is active. Judging from ONMainWindow::slotSetModMap() in onmainwindow.cpp, it looks like the intent is to only run the xmodmap command if kbMap is empty (maybe there's an expected way for kbMap to get cleared so it has to be periodically checked?). However, slotSetModMap() runs every 10 seconds and executes a command every time. It's not clear to me how kbMap becomes empty. Furthermore, the SshProcess objects are not cleaned up until the session is exited. The 'processes' QList in SshMasterConnection grows without bound. Bug#998: Image inverted when displayed via x2go

Package: x2goclient Version: 4.0.1.4 My users have an application[1] that when run under x2go inverts the image it is displaying. There is a comparative screen shot e2boxer-inverted.png at https://drive.google.com/folderview?id=0B-6ks0UHchgjTUpxSkRwd1FLa2s&usp=sha… The window on the left is through x2go and on the right is native. (I've added the red boxes and text to clarify what appears to be random splodges.) We've reproduced this discrepancy on Scientific Linux 6.7, MacOS 10.6 and MacOS 10.9. When run natively, the image is displayed correctly. x2goserver is version 4.0.1.19 running on Scientific Linux 6.7 [1] EMAN2 from http://ncmi.bcm.tmc.edu/ncmi/software/software_details?selected_software=co… The downloadable EMAN2 gzip file contains all the software required to run e2boxer.py - the program that exhibits this problem, no build or config is necessary. The sample input file Falcon_2016_02_02-09_10_45_cor.mrc is at the same link as the screen shot. Bug#996: x2go client issues using HTTP proxy

Package: x2goclient Version: 4.0.5.0-0 When trying to connect to a session using HTTP proxy, it fails the first time with the below message in an error dialog. "Socket error: disconnected" When connecting to the same session the second time within 30 secs, the connection goes through and I am logged into my virtual desktop. I am able to replicate this issue several times. Package: x2goserver Version: 4.0.1.19 Hi. I want to use custom xorg.conf, but i don't no where i can put in x2goserver configuration to use it. How i can use the integrated graphics card for rendering desktop applications for my clients, for example we have NVIDIA Corporation GM107 [GeForce GTX 750 Ti], we can set in default xorg.conf there driver module for use this card in section "device", but x2goserver doesn't use him, can you help me with it?
