Okay great, adding the users to the x2godesktopsharing group fixed everything.
Thanks so much! I didn't see that on the x2do documentation anywhere. What's the process for adding new docs?

Hello other x2go users! I am loving x2go, I have no idea how I haven't heard of it before.
My team is considering pair programming, but we have some remote developers, so I'm trying to set up a remote workspace system for pair development.
I've set up a server that's running x2go's server-side thing, and my x2go client can connect to it. I've set up multiple user accounts on this server and each account can establish a separate x2go X session.
Can they share desktops?
I would think so, but I've installed x2godesktopsharing and the applet's "granted users" option is grayed out, even when desktop sharing is activated.
Is this intentional? If not, what do I need to do to fix desktop sharing? If it helps, my ~/.x2godesktopsharing/settings file keeps looking like:
[General] blacklist=@Invalid() whitelist=@Invalid()
I'm running the latest wheezy x2go packages on an up-to-date wheezy box in EC2.
The "granted users" list gets populated once the first user connects and requests sharing a desktop.
There are two caveats at the moment (normally one):
o users must share the same primary group or must be in group "x2godesktopsharing" o cross-account desktop sharing is broken in x2goserver 4.0.1.18 (and fixed for 4.0.1.19 already)
