Hi there,
After installing X2GO server on a Debian 9 (etch) distro we have got the following error. (See picture attached)
"Unable to create SSH tunnel for audio data: Global request tcpip-forward failed”
Has anyone already had the same problem?
Best wishes, Iuri
Furthermore, x2go service and logs show that the installation works fine
~# ps -ef | grep x2go root 470 1 0 03:01 ? 00:00:02 /usr/bin/perl /usr/sbin/x2gocleansessions

Hi there,
After struggling for a while, I decided to change the approach
"Unable to create SSH tunnel for audio data: Global request tcpip-forward failed”
In order to fix the problem, we decided we won’t use audio device in the server, thus I've disabled the audio option in the client side (x2go). and that made the error goes away.
Now, I’m facing another problem regarding X2Go client authentication. The message says:
I found some references on the internet, regarding X2Go 51 https://bugs.x2go.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=51 <https://bugs.x2go.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=51>
However, I haven’t seen a solution to it. I’m using Debian 9 etch and XFDE, and the hogtie is to XFCE
What would the fix for XFCE then?
Best wishes I

Furhermore, here it is the logs, which I haven’t found anything wrong, except for this line, which tells me to ignore it.

IIRC you need an sshd on the _client_ side. Do you have that installed?
Uli
Yes It is installed.
I also installed X2Go server in another server, running Ubuntu though, and it works fine. Meaning, I’m able to connect to the second and the display work just fine.
But in the first server running Debian 9 and LXDE, as showed in the thread, the installation returned no errors, the connection completed successfully (i.e. no errors in the logs), but the display doesn’t pop up and neither shows the server's desktop
I also tried with Debian 9 XFCE, but I got the same results.
The approach I had was:
Neither of those worked.
Best wishes, I

It seems some libraries are missing, but I have no clue which ones are.
I've doubled checked and researched on the web to make sure everything was installed, but I found nothing missing

The approach I had was:
- to install Debian server from scratch, then apt install xorg sddm task-lxde-desktop

Neither of those worked.
