Hi there,

After struggling for  a while, I decided to change the approach

"Unable to create SSH tunnel for audio data: Global request tcpip-forward failed”

In order to fix the problem, we decided we won’t use audio device in the server, thus I've disabled the audio option in the client side (x2go). and that made the error goes away.

Now, I’m facing another problem regarding X2Go client authentication. The message says:

I found some references on the internet, regarding X2Go 51
https://bugs.x2go.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=51

However, I haven’t seen a solution to it. I’m using Debian 9 etch and XFDE, and the hogtie is to XFCE

What would the fix for XFCE then?

Best wishes
I

Hi there,

After installing X2GO server on a Debian 9 (etch) distro we have got the following error. (See picture attached)

"Unable to create SSH tunnel for audio data: Global request tcpip-forward failed”

Has anyone already had the same problem?

Best wishes,
Iuri
