Package: x2goclient Version: 4.0.0.3 Severity: normal As described on page http://api.libssh.org/master/group__libssh__session.html#ga07827fd70a51ddc4… it is necessary to call ssh_clean_pubkey_hash after obtaining a hash with ssh_get_pubkey_hash. In ssshmasterconnection.cpp, int SshMasterConnection::serverAuth this is missing instead free ( hash ) is called. Best regards Heinrich Schuchardt

Please, setup your webserver to allow access to the repositories via https or http. For Apache this can be done with # Indicate were the git repositories are located. Package: x2goclient Version: 4.0.1.0 Severity: normal Dear maintainer, I am running Debian Wheezy AMD64 I have installed http://packages.x2go.org/debian/ wheezy/main x2goclient amd64 4.0.1.0-0~x2go1+wheezy~main~380~build1 After deleting ~/.ssh/known_hosts I have connected my x2goserver with the command line tool ssh. This created file known_hosts with one entry in the hashed file format described in the sshd(8) man page: "Alternately, hostnames may be stored in a hashed form which hides host names and addresses should the file's contents be disclosed." I now try to connect the same server with x2goclient and get an error "Der Host-Key des Servers konnte nicht gefunden werden aber ein anderer Schlüsseltyp existiert. Ein Angreifer kann den Schlüssel verändert haben, um dem Client vorzutäuschen, dass der Schlüssel nicht existiert" in English this would be "The host key for this server was not found but an other type of key exists.An attacker might change the default server key to confuse your client into thinking the key does not exist" Please, ensure that x2goclient can work with the hashed format of known_hosts. What is the version of nx-libs (x2goagent, nxagent) that you are using on the server? Can you play with the options in /etc/x2go/x2goagent.options? Is the GLX extension enabled/disabled? Is XFIXES enabled/disabled? The issue is very likely to by an nx-libs issue, so reassigning this bug. Bug#235: x2goclient error messages regarding sshd are confusing

Package: x2goclient Version: 4.0.1.0 Severity: minor X2goclient uses the same error dialog for three different (but related) problems. The error message is the one about sshd not running (printSshDError() in onmainwindow.cpp). The conditions are: 1. Unable to open host public key (line 7319) 2. Unable to open key for exports (line 7438) 3. Unable to open authorized_keys (line 7455) These should have distinct error messages, that does not just claim that sshd isn't running. Also, the current message tells the user to install sshd with "apt-get install openssh-server". While I am an Ubuntu user, this message most definitely shouldn't be Debian/Ubuntu specific, since it is also given to both Windows and Mac users, not to mention Linux users on different distributions. -- Anders Bruun Olsen It-ansvarlig Det Danske Sprog- og Litteraturselskab (Society for Danish Language and Literature)

Bug#228: Mount MTP on thinclients

Package: x2gothinclientmanagement Severity: wishlist X2go thinclients currently mount usb-storage devices nicely. It would be nice if they could also handle MTP-devices (like newer Android-phones). The mechanics for connecting the x2goserver session to the actual device (sshfs) wouldn't need to be changed.
