Package: x2goclient Version: lucid - precise: amd64/i386 (ppa.launchpad), precise 3.99.0.5-1: amd64/i386 I should use OTM authentification (One Time Password) like google authentificator on my X2go server but it's impossible to mount shared folder and/or local printer. If i don't use OTP, i can see x2goclient connect twice to my server. Package: x2goclient Severity: wishlist Version: 4.0.2.0 Similar to Bugs http://bugs.x2go.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=364 and http://bugs.x2go.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=365, I would like to request an additional commandline parameter for x2goclient. The parameter should be named --no-sharing or similar, and what it should do is hide the folder sharing options - in an active session, the "<Session Name>/Share Folder" entry on X2Go's taskbar icon context menu when minimized - also in an active session, the "Share Folder" icon in the session window when not minimized - in the session preferences windows, the "Shared folders" tab The reason for this is that in environments where folder sharing is disallowed by the admin (users not members of fuse group/fuse not installed on server), it irritates the users, as those of the "tinkering" type try to configure a shared folder, fail, and complain to the admins. So it would be cool to be able to hide these options with a command line switch. Also, in environments where folder sharing *is* allowed, but where its settings should not be changeable by the user, hiding the option and making the config file readonly would be a way to keep users from making unwanted changes. -Stefan

Hi List & hi Bugwatchers, Mike#1 and I discussed the following approach via phone today: - x2goclient gets a new commandline option --keep-icon - when this commandline option is set, the taskbar icon will not change upon successful connect (global setting) - a new configfile option "keep-icon=true/false" will be added - when this configfile option is set, the taskbar icon will not change upon successful connect (per-session setting) - this change will be implemented for 4.0.1.3 - a config option/checkbox for it will be added with a later release. - Stefan

Bug#362: Chromium/chrome still crash VcXsrv when used with X2Go (VcXsrv doesn't crash with Chromium/Chrome and plain X via SSH)

Package: x2goclient Severity: wishlist Version: 4.0.1.2 Even with the newer Xserver that is included in x2goclient-4.0.1.2-pre02-setup, Chromium and Chrome still crash at random intervals. To be exact, they're not crashing themselves, they're crashing the Xserver. Pausing and resuming a session lets you continue where you stopped, yet, this is an instability that users won't put up with since they quit Windows 98/Millennium for good. It's only when X2Go is involved that these crashes occur - if you export the display with ssh (from PuTTY) instead of using x2goclient.exe, Chromium and Chrome behave well. This is not a showstopper for me (my customers are using Iceweasel so far), but it is an issue where I had hoped to see some improvement with the new Xserver.

It will contain the patched OpenSSL (1.0.1h). 1st, Win32 OpenSSL needs to be updated to 1.01h: http://slproweb.com/products/Win32OpenSSL.html (Once this page is updated, you may need to hit refresh.) If I am not mistaken, I do not need to recompile x2goclient.exe, I merely need to replace the 2 Win32 OpenSSL .DLL files: libeay32.dll ssleay32.dll If anyone knows this for a fact, let me know. -Mike#2
