Package: <x2goserver> $ x2gostartagent The $X2GO_CLIENT environment variable is not set. Possible reasons: $SSH_CLIENT not set or $SSH_CONNECTION not set. Or $X2GO_CLIENT not set by ,,X2Go Desktop Sharing'' applet. Aborting session startup. I'm on Linux Miant 17 Qiana with the x2go/stable ppa. Please tell me what else you need.

Package: x2goserver Version: 4.0.1.19 I'm using x2go on Arch linux x86_64. This package https://www.archlinux.org/packages/extra/x86_64/x2goserver/ I can't use desktop sharing - client says that no local desktop found. After digging I found that `ss -lxu` returns nothing on my system. Replace with `ss -x` and it works now. Thanks!

Reason for norootlessexit

Hello, we are seeing problems with rootless nx sessions, when the user is using a window manager like awesome, openbox or xfce (for users using kde or gnome everythign works fine). nxagent often closes the session after switching workspaces (making the nx windows invisible) because according to nxagent there's no client left (which is wrong). This can be prevented using -norootlessexit. However, I was wondering about the reason for this switch. Did anyone have similar problems and therefore added this switch? Uli

Bug#802: pluma and caja launch successfully

I figured I'd try 2 other MATE apps as single applications: pluma (text editor) caja (file manager) They both launch successfully. The X2Go session wouldn't terminate when I X'd out of caja, but that is probably unrelated.
