Package: x2goserver Version: 4.0.1.20-1 This is on Fedora 25, 4.8.16-300.fc25.x86_64 kernel. Certain users trigger the following errors in /var/log/messages when audio is not disabled: pulseaudio[]: [pulseaudio] main.c: User-configured server at localhost:, refusing to start/autospawn. Bug#1132: X2go rgb.txt follow up

It appears the major issue was not actually x2go, as after running into the color problem on multiple systems that were built by others, using a fresh Centos/Rhel install made the colors work properly while using xterm. It seems there is something fundamentally wrong with the existing system in regards to how it's using the rgb.txt file and x2go connecting to it, though what that is right now I am not entirely sure. Package: x2goclient Version: 4.0.5.2 Connecting to remote RHEL system using x2go has color issues with certain panels of an application on that system. When connecting via NoMachine the panels show up as they should, black background, white text. However with x2go the panel shows up as a grey background with black text, and some text are just black boxes (the major issue is the black boxes obscuring text). Bug#1142: X2GoClient in combination with external X server breaks Published Application Mode

package: x2goclient version: 4.1.0.0 Hi, This has been noted during the debugging of http://bugs.x2go.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=723. When running in PubApp mode, with the internal X server, VcXsrv is being called with these parameters: -multiwindow -notrayicon -clipboard :0 While when running in PubApp mode with an external X server ... First, you notice there's no setup option for that mode. Second, it seems to use the one for Windowed Mode (topmost entry) instead: -screen 0 %wx%h -notrayicon -clipboard :0 Which of course breaks PubApps in horrible ways. It should probably use the value we offer as default for SingleApp mode (third entry from the top) as well, because it matches what's being used in "internal X" mode. Bug#723: Current theory: It's a regression in VcXsrv that can be worked around without needing an out-of-date client or VcXsrv version

Debugging this with the help of Mike#2 turned up the following: If you select an external X-Server in X2GoClient's settings, yet point it back at the VcXsrv that is shipped with X2GoClient, it will work, provided: - the options for the various X-Server modes default to this: -screen 0 %wx%h -notrayicon -clipboard -fullscreen -notrayicon -clipboard -multiwindow -notrayicon -clipboard -nodecoration -notrayicon -clipboard -screen 0 @ - you restarted X2GoClient after making these changes - you run a full desktop environment in windowed mode (it still crashes in single application/published application mode) The "-screen 0 800x600 -notrayicon -clipboard :0" entry is the most relevant one. Note that these settings may have unwanted side effects if you are using X2GoClient to connect in different modes. Especially, this *will* break Published Application Mode. Bug#1141: x2gobroker-loadchecker: debian packaging files symlinks to wrong systemd service file

Package: x2gobroker-loadchecker Version: 0.0.3.1 In the Debian package of the x2gobroker-loadchecker the systemd service file is actually the service file of the x2gobroker-authservice. The git version of the x2gobroker-loadchecker.service still symlinks to the x2gobroker-authservice.service in the debian/ subdirectory. To fix that issue the broken symlink just have to be replaced by 'ln -snf ../x2gobroker-loadchecker.service debian/x2gobroker-loadchecker.service'. Hi Mike, are you still there? We like X2Go very much - great work! Is there any chance to solve this problem in Vcxsrv? Or maybe give a possible reason for the problem, so that the ROOT programmers could think about a solution. I know it is a relatively small user group using ROOT together with X2Go Client for Windows, but I would be very glad to get it working without installing an old Vcxsrv version. running x2goagent under valgrind

It may be futile, but I'm trying to run x2goagent under valgrind. The first problem seems to be that it takes too long to initialize, and x2goclient yields: x2go-DEBUG-../src/sshmasterconnection.cpp:1559> "channel_open_session failed.": "Socket error: Operation now in progress" It seems that x2goclient doesn't handle that as a "try again" error message.
