Bug#826: shadow sessions inside nxagent sessions fail

Package: nxagent Severity: important Version: 3.5.0.29 Control: forwarded -1 https://github.com/ArcticaProject/nx-libs/issues/6 We just tried to run cascaded sessions with one of them being a desktop sharing session: (a) from client (host-A) launch X2Go session to a remote server (server-B) (b) from X2Go session on server-B launch a remote desktop sharing session with :0 on remote host-C Result: a black nxagent window appears (inside the X2Go Session on server-B) that accepts mouse and keyboard input (which both arrive on host-C via desktop sharing). If I manage to move a window via the desktop sharing session, the black nxagent window does some screen updates, but no full view of the remotely shared desktop appears. logout broken with Xfce 4.12

Since Xfce 4.12 update in ArchLinux logging out from Xfce session won't close the connection cleanly. I couldn't find anything useful in the logs. Can somebody with a different distribution confirm this? Anything useful we can provide to solve this? -Andy ArchLinux

Bug#673: GUI-based Applications stall when x2go session is suspended

Package: x2goserver Version: 4.0.1.15-2.el7 x86_64 When an x2go session is suspended, any running GUI-based application will stall as soon as it tries to update graphical information in the GUI. This was not the case with the old freenx server, and it is a problem for large jobs that take a long time to run. Not sure if this is just a configuration/install problem. What does NOT stall: - Text-based output from command line-based shell scripts. - GUI-based applications running in suspended x2go sessions as Published Applications. What DOES Stall: - GUI-based applications running in suspended x2go sessions (accessed by X2GoClient) on a Linux Desktop (i,.e. MATE, XFCE) - GUI-based applications running in suspended NX sessions (accessed by an NX3 client) on a Linux Desktop (i,.e. MATE, XFCE) The steps taken to produce the bug: - Start a GUI-based Application (for testing, use the Linux System Monitor, open the "Resources" tab) - Suspend the x2go session. - Some time later, resume the session. The GUI now continues running, but it had stalled while the session was suspended. Bug#757: Segfault of QDialog in a PyQt application

Package: client Version: 4.0.3.0 Qt 4.8.6 When we run our PyQt application on our Debian Wheezy computer with an ssh -X connection it work fine But when we use X2Go to access the computer and we run our application we've got a segmentation fault at the first QDialog opening. (when we run QDialog.exec_). We recently update the X2Go version and before that update it was working fine. We found at least one post that describe the same problem in January 2014 on your bug report site : X2Go Bug report logs - #410 Segfault of _X11TransWritev in libNX_X11.so.6 with libQtGui Like suggested in this report if we run a simple application to test an opening of a dialog box it work fine with X2Go >From your experience of this bugs is there any way to solve this problem ? In nxagent-3.5.0-8 NoMachine has tweaked the version number of nxagent to work better with cairo. So doing this is not completely unusual for NX... Package: nx-libs Version: 3.5.0.27 Distribution: Linux Mint 17 64-bit. hp-toolbox segfaults when started in a x2go MATE session. hp-toolbox is a python script, part of the hplip-gui package in Linux Mint 17. After unsetting the LD_LIBRARY_PATH environment variable, hp-toolbox starts without segfaulting. (hp-toolbox started in a shell in a terminal window).
