Bug#546: Unable to create SSL tunnel: Global request tcpip-forward failed

Package: x2goclient Version: 4.0.2.1-pre05 On Windows, doing the following steps 1. Connect to a session. 2. Disconnect from the session (click the X) 3. Connect to the session again. Causes the session to connect, but you receive both an error dialog and a warning dialog with the following text: Unable to create SSL tunnel: Global request tcpip-forward failed If you X out of or click OK to the error, nothing happens. If you X out of or click OK to the warning, the session ends and you get the message: Title Bar: X2Go - 211 The connection with the remote server was shut down. Please check the state of your network connection. It is safe to assume that if I build x2goclient for windows from the official source release of 4.0.2.1, it wold have this problem. Most, if not all earlier 4.0.2.1 preview builds are affected too.

Bug#526: Included PulseAudio consumes too much CPU when launched with high priority

Package: x2goclient Version: 4.0.2.0 When I use sound forwarding and launch inside X2Go session some application with sound support, pulseaudio.exe at client side starts consuming ~100% CPU. By default, X2Go Client starts pulseaudio.exe with high priority (13). When I set priority to "Above Normal (10)" PA's CPU load drops to 10-20%. With "Normal (8)" it drops to almost 0%, although sound is still played stable, without any additional delays. I'm using WinXP SP3 (32-bit) on my laptop with single core CPU. This issue seems to be "PulseAudio 5.0 && WinXP"-specific.

Deps on notify-python

I see that pyhoca-cli and pyhoca-gui are configured to require notify-python. However, it doesn't look like pyhoca-cli uses it. Also, notify-python has been dropped from RHEL7, presumably in favor of python-inotify. Bug#501: Missing function: Authentication Forwarding

Package: x2goclient Version: 4.0.1.1-1ubuntu1 Hi, the current x2goclient lacks a highly important feature, the Authentication Forwarding of ssh. Would be nice to have it. The pyhoca-client does support this, but unfortunately does not come with a Mac OS X dmg package for easy installation. Since this is essential for remote working, it would be really important to have this feature in the plain x2goclient. Best regards Hadmut

Bug#585: Clipboard handling with XFIXES broken

Package: nx-xlibs Version: 3.5.0-27 I have found a clipboard problem which only occurs when the XFIXES extension is active. Sometimes qt applications running inside the session cannot paste what has been selected outside the session. Steps to reproduce: 1. start a new session (rootless or desktop, does not matter) 2. start at qt application within the session (I tried konsole and kedit) 3. start an xterm outside the session 4. select/mark some text in the qt app 5. paste the selection in the xterm with middle mouse button -> works 6. select/mark something in the xterm 7. paste the xterm selection with middle mouse button in the qt app -> does not work, the text selected in step 4 gets pasted instead I have tried that on Ubuntu 14.04, CentOS 6.5 and OpenSuse 11.4. These all have different QT (and KDE) versions. I could provoke this on all versions. Workaround: turn off XFIXES extension Some further observation: If you run xfixes-selection.pl (http://cpansearch.perl.org/src/KRYDE/X11-Protocol-Other-29/examples/xfixes-…) both inside and outside the x2go/nx session while reproducing this you can see that the SetSelectionOwner event of the XFIXES extension does not reach the x2goagent when something is selected in the xterm but both sides receive that event wehn something is selected in the qt app.

Bug#594: multi monitor support on Windows

It happens on multi monitor systems when trying to start X2Go session on secondary display if secondary display is positioned left of primary display and have negative coordinates. Bug#586: X2Go session sometimes slows to a crawl

This happens even if there is no significant load on the server machine. On occasion, the session can actually recover from this state. When the session is disconnected during such a slowdown, it terminates, too.

Bug#583: Windows client closes session when inactive

Package: x2goclient Version: 4.2.0.1+hotfix1+build3 Hello. I am using nx-client to run some linux programs on windows. I wanted to switch to x2go but I experience problems with disconnecting/terminating my session after some time of inactivity. That means, when I e.g. minimize my x2goclient window then after some time (cca 7-12 minutes) the session terminates without any explanation. This happens only in windows client, not in linux client.
