Package: ubuntu 14.04 Hello, I just installed Ubuntu 14.04 LTS. I have been following the instructions to instal x2goserver from here: http://wiki.x2go.org/doku.php/wiki:repositories:ubuntu My /etc/apt/sources.list has this line; deb http://de.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu trusty main universe I get this error message when trying to add the x2go/stable PPA while running as root. # add-apt-repository ppa:x2go/stable Cannot add PPA: 'ppa:x2go/stable'. Bug#568: Rebase VcXsrv-XP against latest VcXsrv (MSVC 2013)

Package: x2goclient Version: 4.0.3.0-preview So back when I created the fork of VcXsrv called VcXsrv-XP, I was under the impression that the last version of Microsoft Visual Studio to support XP targeting was 2012. Therefore, I based it on the last version of VcXsrv to use VS 2012, 1.14.3. All later versions of VcXsrv require Visual Studio 2013. (There's actually newer C syntax.) However, I found out that Visual Studio 2013 also supports XP targeting. I must have gotten confused because "Visual Studio 12" is "Visual Studio 2013", not "Visual Studio 2012". Anyway, this means I should rebase VcXsrv-XP against the latest version of VcXsrv, currently 1.15.2.0, so long as the latest version of VcXsrv still uses Visual Studio 2013. (2014 is not out yet.)

Getting X2Go to work with GNOME3 in Ubuntu 14.04

Note: This is a followup to the email thread: FYI: I am working on x2go GNOME3 compatibility in Ubuntu 14.04 Unfortunately, we were having issues with mailing list archiving at that time, so I cannot link to it. Hi Eugene, I would like to help get your GNOME3 & X2Go compatibility patches into Ubuntu 14.04 as an SRUs/backports, and into 14.10. It sounds like we need to start by preparing one or more debdiffs for bug LP: #1251281. Should I do that? Mac switching out of fullscreen periodically

Hi, I am running X2Go on a Mac OS X 10.9.4 and connecting using XFCE in full screen mode. Every few seconds after I am connected via X2Go, the Mac automatically switches out of the remote desktop and into my local desktop without me doing anything. How can I figure out what is causing this behavior? Thank you Sam

package: x2goclient version: 4.0.2.1+hotfix1+build2 Even though the only differences between X2Go Client for Windows 4.0.2.1+hotfix1 and 4.0.2.1+hotfix1+build2 are the versions of these 3 files, which are unmodified from upstream: cygcrypto-1.0.0.dll libeay32.dll ssleay32.dll (They were upgraded from openssl 1.0.1h to openssl 1.0.1i) Much to my surprise, a regression was introduced. When you I connect to an existing session or a new session, I now get an error dialog with the following text in bold: Connection failed and then the following text not in bold, separated by a space: Can not open file - The session still however opens. I haven't tested how well it works though. Bug#565: python-software-properties for 10.04, I'll make the updates

Thank you for reporting this bug. Sorry for any confusion that may have resulted. I can confirm that Ubuntu 10.04 also uses python-software-properties . http://packages.ubuntu.com/lucid-updates/all/python-software-properties/fil… 10.04, 12.04 and 14.04 are the only supported versions of Ubuntu now, so they're the only versions that should be listed in new wiki content. I will update the wiki now with this info. FYI: We would appreciate any contributions you can make to the wiki. Bug#150: Cinnamon 1.4 worksforme

I tested Cinnamon 1.4 and it appears to work work fine. Perhaps this bug report needs to be retitled to state that only newer versions of cinnamon that are affected? This is just a VM I setup for the specific purpose of testing Cinnamon compatibility with X2Go. More details are below. Note that GLX is enabled, and I ran the "Custom Desktop" command: gnome-session-cinnamon . "cinnamon2d" was not present in this older version of Cinnamon. ---- I have the GLX extension enabled on my test system (/etc/x2go/x2goagent.options has the line to disable GLX commented out) - Linux mint 13 maya (based on Ubuntu 12.04 precise) 64-bit - All latest level 1, 2 and 3 OS updates installed. - cinnamon version: 1.4-UP3 - Cusstom Desktop specified in x2goclient: gnome-session-cinnamon - x2goserver & x2goserver-xsession: 4.0.1.15-0~847~ubuntu12.04.1 - nxagent & x2goagent: 2:3.5.0.27-0~446~ubuntu12.04.1 I've attached the contents of my .xsession-x2go-errors file.
