Package: x2goclient Version: 4.0.1.1-1ubuntu1 Hi, the current x2goclient lacks a highly important feature, the Authentication Forwarding of ssh. Would be nice to have it. The pyhoca-client does support this, but unfortunately does not come with a Mac OS X dmg package for easy installation. Since this is essential for remote working, it would be really important to have this feature in the plain x2goclient. Best regards Hadmut

Bug#642: Changes in X2GoClient for Windows to enable it conform to Visual Studio's stricter type checking

Package: x2goclient Version: 4.0.2.1 Severity: wishlist Given the ease of use of Visual Studio's built-in debugger, the ability to compile X2GoClient in Visual Studio 2010 would be highly appreciated by developers eager to contribute in the evolution of X2GoClient for Windows. Using the attached patch (also added config_win_vs.bat) I have only managed to compile x2gofree (with VS2010 nmake) on the command line. Despite my changes in x2goclient.pro, Qt4 Visual Studio Add-in cannot produce a working project file (x2goclient.vcxproj). Any help to enable building x2gofree in Visual Studio 2010 is welcome. PS. Bug#585: Clipboard handling with XFIXES broken

Package: nx-xlibs Version: 3.5.0-27 I have found a clipboard problem which only occurs when the XFIXES extension is active. Sometimes qt applications running inside the session cannot paste what has been selected outside the session. Steps to reproduce: 1. start a new session (rootless or desktop, does not matter) 2. start at qt application within the session (I tried konsole and kedit) 3. start an xterm outside the session 4. select/mark some text in the qt app 5. paste the selection in the xterm with middle mouse button -> works 6. select/mark something in the xterm 7. paste the xterm selection with middle mouse button in the qt app -> does not work, the text selected in step 4 gets pasted instead I have tried that on Ubuntu 14.04, CentOS 6.5 and OpenSuse 11.4. These all have different QT (and KDE) versions. I could provoke this on all versions. Workaround: turn off XFIXES extension Some further observation: If you run xfixes-selection.pl (http://cpansearch.perl.org/src/KRYDE/X11-Protocol-Other-29/examples/xfixes-…) both inside and outside the x2go/nx session while reproducing this you can see that the SetSelectionOwner event of the XFIXES extension does not reach the x2goagent when something is selected in the xterm but both sides receive that event wehn something is selected in the qt app.

How To? question- Cursor capture.

*Server: Debian "Jessie" X2Go Server: 4.0.1.18-0x2go1+git20141006.949+wheezy.main.1 Client: Windows 7 Pro 64 bit X2Go Client: 4.0.3.0 (Qt - 4.8.6)* Team, Hi. I'm accessing a headless Debian (Jessie) machine from Windows 7. I just installed X2Go for the first time, generally quite impressed but there are some things I don't understand yet, and I haven't found online docs to explain. My Windows machine has 3 screens. What I would typically want to do is dedicate one screen to the X2Go session to the server, so I can switch between controlling the local client or the server just by moving the mouse cursor. This would also make it easy to copy/paste text between the machines. Currently it seems X2Go lets me choose either- 1. Windowed mode, where the cursor can move in or out of the X2Go window 2. Fullscreen mode, where X2Go captures the cursor What I want is a 3rd mode- * Dedicate one client monitor to X2Go, but allow the (client, Windows) cursor to move in or out of the X2Go window Is this possible?
