Package: x2goserver Version: 4.0.1.15 The client machine's OS: Gentoo Linux 64-bit The client machine's version of X2GoClient: 4.0.2.1 Any relevant session settings in X2GoClient: KDE session The server's OS: Gentoo Linux 64-bit The server's version of the x2goserver package: 4.0.1.15 The server's version of the x2goserver-xsession package (included in server package) The server's version of the nx-libs package: 3.5.0.27 After a while of running, the session can slow down so that the environment reacts very slowly, window changes come only after seconds, and mouse clicks or keyboard presses only register after several seconds, too. This happens even if there is no significant load on the server machine. On occasion, the session can actually recover from this state. When the session is disconnected during such a slowdown, it terminates, too.

Bug#650: X2Go Windows Client - vcxsrv.exe Window Titlebar gone

Package: X2Go Windows Client Version: 4.0.3.0 Unlike DePaulo's other submitted bug report, on a Dual-Monitor Setup, when the vcxsrv.exe is Maximized on one monitor (not full-screen), the top bar that usually has the X2Go Logo, Session Name, minimize button, Maximize button, and the close button disappears. In addition, the session remains on top (therefore any popups or windows that appear on that monitor does not show due to the X2Go Session). The session works. I can still remotely select the menus and whatnot. It's just I can no longer minimize the X2Go Session or move it to a different location. Screenshots attached. I am using Windows 7 64-bit edition with X2Go Client Version 4.0.3.0. (This is probably not needed but the Server is running Debian 7 64-bit recently installed (3 days ago) X2Go server). Thanks.

I wanted to switch to x2go but I experience problems with disconnecting/terminating my session after some time of inactivity. That means, when I e.g. minimize my x2goclient window then after some time (cca 7-12 minutes) the session terminates without any explanation. This happens only in windows client, not in linux client. Bug#583: Solved - problem in my application

Hi, yesterday I discover a bug in my application which caused the problem! We were used to start the application from nxclient since ages and I completely forgot, that there was some very old "cleaning" procedure which was actually trying to solve some problems with nxclient stalled sessions. This "cleaning" procedure couldn't coexist with the different approach x2goclient, which caused closing of x2go sessions after some time of inactivity. Thanks a lot for all your help a I apologize for any disturbance. Good thing is that I could learn much more about how x2go works... The bug 583 can be considered as closed. Pavel
