[X2Go-User] Problems with X2Go locking windows clipboard

I recently upgraded an LUbuntu 20.04 system with X2Go installed to LUbuntu
22.04.

 

As part of that process, the X2Go server components got updated to
4.1.0.6-0~2023081

I don't know what version it was previously but it was at least 3 years ago
that it was installed.

 

Since then whenever I copy text in (e.g.) a bash terminal session on Linux
system I am connected to, the Windows clipboard appears to get locked and I
can't copy stuff from a Windows application to the clipboard.

 

It either doesn't get copied or worse, the last text from the Linux system
that was copied appears in the Windows clipboard.

 

The X2Go Client on Windows is unchanged (4.1.2.2)

 

Is there any fix for this?
