I don't know how arch handles nxdialog. On debian it is a separate
package. However, it is only one file, you can find it
here:https://github.com/ArcticaProject/nx-libs/tree/3.6.x/nxdialog/bin.
It works with python2 and python3.
The dependencies (on debian) for python3 look like this:
Depends:
python3,
python3-gi,
gir1.2-gtk-3.0,
x11-xkb-utils,
You can check if nxdialog (or nx2goclient) works for this purpose like this:
nxdialog --dialog ok -message hi --caption test
x2goclient --dialog ok -message hi --caption test
Both should open a little requester with an ok button.
