[X2Go-User] Menu won't stay up

I have seen this behavior sometimes, not sure how I got rid of it... Try activate the menu onse while holding Ctrl or Alt. 

Although not mentioned on https://wiki.x2go.org/doku.php/doc:de-compat
I have heard some claimed that disabling composition (like on xfce) also helps on mate.
