[X2Go-User] Is there a broker that does NOT require root to install?

No. That's not how a broker works, nor what it is made for.
An X2Go session broker is meant for larger *central* setups, where all
servers store their session info in the same database, and server load
is balanced between them. For this to work in any way that would make
sense, X2Go Servers, the Broker, the Database server, and the Fileserver
for the homedirectories need to be on the same network.
There is no support to cross double NAT barriers, nor will there ever be.
This is because X2Go is not meant as a TeamViewer replacement.
While X2Go comes with some features that allow "watching" someone else's
screen, and even taking over - this is not what it was made for.
And the performance of such a mirrored session is also lacking, compared
to a native X2Go session.
I'm sorry, but you will have to go look elsewhere for a TeamViewer
replacement. X2Go is not what you're looking for.
