[X2Go-User] trying to use x2go on windows and could not make it work

Does the application complete crash and exit?  Mine would just crash the application completely.  Mine was due to the server requiring FIPS and the application not gracefully handling the fact that it doesn't handle FIPS.  Do you know if the server is hardened?  For me, version 4.1.2.0 did handle it OK.  You can try running the current version (4.1.2.2) in debug from the command line to see if it shows any errors before it crashes.  Mine didn't, but your problem might be different.  If you do decide to try the older version of the client, you can get it here: https://code.x2go.org/releases/binary-win32/x2goclient/releases/ .  Good luck.  If you do figure something out, I am hoping that it might help me make it work for me as well.
