[X2Go-User] Building x2goclient from sources

Greetings!
   I am trying to build the client from source tarballs.  I am following the steps outlined at 
      http://wiki.x2go.org/doku.php/wiki:development:build-howto-linux:x2goclient
   I have downloaded and untarred the nx-libs_3.5.0.13 full tarball.

   after I
      cd nx-libs_3.5.0.13/nxproxy
      autoconf
      ./configure --prefix=/custom
      make

   I get the following:

/usr/bin/ld: cannot find -lXcomp

Do I have to compile/install anything in the nx-libs parent directory beforehand?
