Thanks! The host machine is running x2goclient-4.0.2.1 on openSUSE 13.1
(installed from the repository at
<http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/X11:/RemoteDesktop:/x2go/openSUSE_13.1/>)
and the remote machine is running x2goserver-4.0.0.0 on openSUSE 11.4
(installed from the repository which was formerly at
<http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/X11:/RemoteDesktop:/x2go/openSUSE_11.4/>).
