[X2Go-User] Trouble with tab key on OS X

I'm running X2Go Client V. 4.0.1.3 on OS X 10.9.1 and connecting to X2Go Server on Ubuntu 13.10 that reports as:

x2goagent: 3.5.0.22
x2goserver: 4.0.1.13
x2goserver-extensions: 4.0.1.13

The problem is that the tab key on my Mac doesn't generate a tab character in the X2Go session. It doesn't perform filename completion in bash or emacs or a tab function in text editors. In bash, the cursor does become hollow when the tab key is pressed.

I can get filename completion in bash by hitting esc three times. Needing three presses seems odd—it's usually two.

Any suggestions on restoring functionality in tab?
