[X2Go-User] X2GO Mac client

We also run Ubuntu 12.04 on the server, with XFCE 4.10 as the desktop
environment. I have heard that Unity can be problematic when paired with
x2go. Not sure if this is still an issue.
I run Ubuntu 12.04 with Unity on my main desktop, and regularly log on to
our terminal servers with x2goclient, and don't have the mentioned problem.
I would guess that the real problem is that the resolution chosen by
x2goclient (by however much space is occupied on your Mac screen), isn't
being picked up by Unity. I think that was the problem with Unity before. I
think Gnome had the same problems. That is one of the reasons we chose XFCE
instead. That and not wanting fancy 3D compositing to happen on a remote
desktop :)
