[X2go-user] Ubuntu 10.04 only black screen

are you using the default SQLite setup? Please check:

(a) setuid user bit and ownerships:

$ ls -al /usr/bin/x2gosqlitewrapper
-rwsr-sr-x 1 x2gouser x2gousers    9961 2011-05-19 06:06  
/usr/bin/x2gosqlitewrapper

(b) x2gouser
$ getent passwd x2gouser
x2gouser:x:999:134::/var/db/x2go/:/bin/sh

(c) file permissions of /var/lib/x2go

$ ls -al /var/lib/x2go/
drwx------  2 x2gouser x2gouser  4096 2011-05-17 11:42 .
drwxr-xr-x 78 root     root      4096 2011-03-29 15:26 ..
-rw-------  1 x2gouser x2gouser 23552 2011-05-17 11:42 x2go_sessions
