converting the debian/rules files to Makefiles is currently on my ToDo  
list. Goal is to make it possible to install x2go from tarballs (in  
/usr/local by default).

Once this goal is reached you can use ,,make && make install'' for any  
of the Git projects related to X2go. However, this is work in progress  
that has not yet really started...
