"There exists a bug in either XFCE or X2Go causing rendering issues
with the compositor when using X2Go.

Workaround is to disable compositing:

/usr/bin/xfconf-query -c xfwm4 -p /general/use_compositing -s false

I encountered the above issue in AlmaLinux 8; CentOS 8 would likely be
