[X2Go-Dev] Linux Mint 19.1 x2goserver connection problems

HI..

We are running x2go on the linux mint with mate. All latest patches installed.

Until recently we have not had any problems with x2go. Maybe it is a recent patch (maybe one of the ssh patches) or something.  Anyway, right not when a user tries to connect to the server it works about 1 in 5 or 10 times. The logs usually have something about "xauth" failing on the failed attempts.  I have included a client side log at the bottom of this Email. I will dig up the server side log if you need it.

Once we get a connection it seems fine with the exception that Mate shows everything in the dock twice (including the menu). I do not remember it doing that before. XFCE is also failing as well.

Note: We have tried the Windows client on Windows 7 and Windows 10 as well as the client on Linux mint. They all seem to have the same problem.

If any of you have any hints on what direction to pursue I would appreciate it.  I am sending the users with this problem back to VNC which is not a very good solution.  I really do not want to do that.
