Unfortunately I do not remember, although I have beee examining that
recently (while debugging the flickering issue on Windows). No, wait,
I remember:
vcxsrv brings its own window manager for the multiwindow mode and then
nx is reporting "has WM". No idea about MacOs, though.

We could file vcxsrv bug for that. We "just" need to track it down and
build some small example code. ;-)
