package: x2goclient
version: 4.0.5.1-2016.06.05
tag: X2GoGathering2016
Note: Only noticed on MS Windows so far
When a session loses its network connection, X2GoClient is causing high
CPU load (CPU fans spin up), becomes unresponsive, and eventually crashes.
Steps to reproduce:
- Run any X2Go session
- Disconnect network cable
- Session freezes (to be expected, this is not the bug)
- CPU fan spins up
- After a while, a popup referencing Error 51 appears
- No matter what you click (Yes or No), it just gets worse
- When you try to suspend the session, nothing happens
- When you try to click on X2GoClient afterwards, it becomes
almost unresponsive (still spinning the fan at high speed)
- When you try to terminate the session, the entire X2GoClient closes
- When you try to close X2GoClient, it crashes.
