And... the first draft for published applications support is also in  
Git for Python X2Go / PyHoca-GUI.

Still todo:

   - no icons, yet
   - sort application submenus
   - implement --single-session-profile command line option
   - no submenus for less then 8-9 published applications
   - stability testing
