Hi,

this is definitely some race-condition and therefore highly system
dependent. Since I had to reinstall my system I got less crashes and my
single-core system without HT works pretty much seamlessly. Or in other
words: This is a bug, someone needs to track down - probably not
difficult to fix, but I haven't gotten around setting up an development
environment for windows.
