The Desktop sharing feature is a feature of the upcomming release
"baikal". Yes it will be possible to access a local, already running
Desktop session.
What is the status of the new release?
The main new features are:
* serverside xdmcp support
* a plugin for firefox
* https:// session data access
* desktop sharing
at the moment we don't have an public "experimental/unstable" repository
- sorry for that.
All items of the list are working now, but we still have issues with the
desktop sharing feature. We really hope to fix those bugs as fast as
possible. At the moment this would just not be working more than one time...
Sorry for the delay...
best regards,
Heinz
