I'm not an expert but my experience with the plugin has been that it
provides limited preconfiguration on the web site - things like
username, host, port, etc.

For items like printing and auto-mounts, I think it still writes to
~/.x2goclient - either that or somewhere in
~/.mozilla/firefox/<profile>/plugins (I'm guessing) - John
